I'm so on board with these comparison videos! I just switched from young living to revive, but I'm open to other brands! I love young livings gentle baby, peace and calming, purify and theives. I'd love those!
Thank you for this video. I was looking to buy YL but I can't afford it and have been so hesitant. I also have never used essential oils before as well. My friend told me about Plant Therapy so I think this might be another alternative that may also be safe.
Thankful for your honesty. Plant Therapy has been my go to for EOs since shortly after their company introduction. I can always trust them for truthful and safe usage education. 🤗
Thank you for the review. I think you did a fair comparison. I have used Young Living mainly because friends of mine sell it. However I do find that it is expensive and wanted some opinions on some other companies.

I got a refund for mine and gave it to a friend for the same reason! It made me gag as well. Not a huge fan of cinnamon but don’t mind it too much in blends.
Quality is very important. I truly believe that companies like YL, Revive and Plant Therapy provide excellent quality essential oils. I also believe that that as much as I love YL oils I do not believe much of what their distributors share because many of those people are just repeating information the company is providing without scientific research to back it up like “it takes 20 seconds for it to reach the brain...etc.” Or that their oils are FDA approved so you can invest the ones labeled differently. That isn’t nevertheless case, the FDA doesn’t regulate any of that they just told them if you want to market something is ingestible you need to put a different label on it. All information on how and from where their oils are sourced is in their website and available to everyone. As well as the fact that revive and plant therapy provide GCMS report testing whereas young living does not. All of that is not say I don’t like them I do and I have since purchased from young living again I just don’t believe they are the only company in the world providing quality oils.
Hi, Erikaa, yes Young Living sale the 5ml, but the white small ones with a white label are for vitality, consumption and the 15ml are not for consumption. But I get it not everyone can afford young living or Doterra so I get it. I use them with much of both YL, and Dottera's, other products as well. I do not sale. I use them because of the vast research they have done to get to this point of being able to have other companies dupe them. I will have to check Plant Therapy out to probably add to my collection.
Yep everyone definitely cannot afford them but I love being able to use all different kinds and comparing for myself. I’ve heard many different versions of what the white label vs the color label means and at the end of the day it is the exact same oil in both bottles. They just label it differently because the FDA asked them too in order to allow them to market the oil as indigestible. I don’t ingest but I’m certainly not one to tell anyone what todo. I am a big supporter of do what you think is right for you not just because others tell you to. I also believe it is important to research outside of a companies own research. Never want to fully depend on research that can potentially be biased.
I understand, Thank You for writing back, I have been using oils forever not just yl and dottera, I use other brands as well. I am a big advocate for research and personal experience and care. Thieves uses Eucalyptus Radiata I haven't checked the others but they probably use Globulus which is the standard Eucalyptus that's probably the difference you were smelling. I was wondering why you got Young Living, was it just to compare for your videos? So I am one of those perfectionist that has to analyze everything and make sure I'm buying the best product at the best price so In the beginning of my oil journey (I'm at almost 2 years now- over 1k hours research later lol) I bought from all the main companies and I have found Plant Therapy to be my very favorite, they have actually treated me so well that they are the only company I buy from now. I am normally a brand neutral type of person like after I did my research the oil companies that I liked the best are of coarse Plant Therapy (for singles, but also Florihana (singles) and Edens Garden (for synergy blends) I found that they have equally as good or better oils than Young Living and Doterra where they are mlm companies they put a lot of false information out there making people think they are the best I recently found out they even pay people to make other companies look like they have adulterated oils here is an example of that: www.consumersadvocate.org/essential-oils?fbclid=IwAR1KzvrljobcJlilMilTYrtxatmaUbYS1KyviOKW-maUByS0HSFnxi7mkxw It's sad because if the regular person seen that page that could change their mind about the company they may be using or thought about using. I was getting synergy blends from Edens Garden but one of their oils smelled bad and they said they would do a one time credit which was nice BUT what happens if I got another oil that was bad, already using the one time credit I would just be stuck with it. But with Plant Therapy if you get an oil you don't like, guess what- your not going to pay for it! That's awesome! That speaks a lot about them! That says they truly care about their customers and they want you to be happy which I love! Their customer service is amazing they always go above and beyond answering any questions and I always end up with learning more than I asked for. They also have live educational events here on RU-vid a few times a week and give away a ton of oils each event just by occasionally watching I have won around $150 in new oils... that's amazing! That also shows how much they love their customers! I really like their reward system they have too which comes in handy, I'm actually going to be an oily bestie in 118 points I'm excited about that oily bestie is another tier of rewards with additional benefits so that's cool. Wow! Yes! So I definitely purchased my YL starter kit purely out of curiosity and wanting to compare them for myself with my other oils. I primarily was using Revive and Plant Therapy and I have to agree Plant Therapy is my main oil company. Their product is fantastic and their customer service is even better. I love that they’re about knowledge and safety and you can always get a great deal. There haven’t been many times I’ve purchased an oil I didn’t like but when I have their refund policy is amazing no questions asked. They definitely have my heart. That is awesome that you are sharing your oily journey along the way I love that! So what got you started on the oil train? For me I had been hearing about how bad air freshners are for you specifically plug-ins, we had one in each room cause we like our house to smell amazing. We got a fancy new luxury bed sheet set and it came with Lavender and Lemon essential oil, I had never heard really anything about them before I knew they were for aromatherapy but I didn't really know what that was either lol. So I started researching how to use them and wow was blown away! I then learned that is not just air freshners it's so SO many other things! We always assumed that if it's on the shelves in the store then it is safe for you, which is how it should be!! So before using EO's I used to got sick all the time any where from 3-6 times a year! Since I started I have not got sick ONCE (with one exception) ! That's a huge deal! Thieves was one of the first oils I got and so when I started to feel sick at night I would roll it on my feet with a roller ball and the next day I would feel like a new me, better! The first 3 times I took it as maybe it was just a coincidence but what made me a believer was one time I actually did get sick and I forgot to use it so the first day I used it that night woke up better in the morning! Amazing! BTW when I got sick I was normally down in the bed for 3-5 days. I have never been a DIY-er, not my jam... until now haha! I slowly started switching out products for home and body I now make everything except for toothpaste, hair gel and hair spray! It's really fun! Oh! About a month ago my other half (of 15 years named Jeff) got Covid! So we had to be quarantined and this may sound crazy but I tried to go ahead and get it so I could be done worrying about if I have it or not and basically just go ahead and knock it out so we wouldn't have to be quarantined another 14 days later on. I know that may sound stupid to a lot of people, but we used the same driving cups, pillows etc. Guess what-I never got it!! BTW I have been the only one using EO's he was still doing using all the yucky stuff cause he likes the smell. Soooo after that he has finally started using my stuff!! I have been pretty excited about that! Cause it sucked he was still using the bad cleaners and everything in the house so it was really counter productive to what I have been trying so hard to accomplish. I grew up on YL and been using it over 20yrs and Thieves is a staple in our cabinet, but now that I am starting to buy my own I am trying out other brands. I like Mountain Rose Herbs, my MIL uses Revive & I am considering Plant Therapy. I found a couple of Reddits that share the recipes for Thieves & Germ Fighter so I am going to try out the GF blend DIY to see if I want to buy that or make Thieves DIY. I am very interested in Germ Destroyer too since I recently learned why the standard 4 Thieves spices may not be the safest to use on children under 10. I have been having trouble finding review & comparisons though.

I find all these brands oils to be highly effective. I only recently started using Young Living oils and I find them all to be comparable. Immunity boost I used to make a zit zapper roll on and boy did that work great! I personally highly trust any brand that openly provides GCMS reports even though YL doesn't always disclose their dilution rates which I find a bit concerning.
I have. Good stuff. I like it as well as the Eden's Garden Fighting Five. I wasn't a huge fan of the PT one, and I've not tried YL, though. Revive Immunity Boost is my favorite, but honestly I would use either one, and do have both.

I am doing the research on Plant thearpy, right now, but if you have some info I can check out that would be appreciated. I already have Revived oils. But plant therapy I know nothing about.
Plant Therapy has their own blog full of info, their GCMS reports can be found easily online and all of their bottles are labeled with safety information like each roller discloses their dilution percentage which in my opinion is very important to know. In my personal opinion I don’t like that both Revive and Young Living do not disclose their dilution percentages and consider it proprietary. It’s a cause for concern. It’s always good to know how much of an oil is a roller because a little bit goes a long way when it comes to essential oils. Revive and YL both also have many oils that are dilated for example valor and courage both contain a carrier oil but they do not disclose how much. My white Angelica from YL Also contains almond oil carrier oil in but again no percentage of dilution is disclosed. So I paid $30 for a 5ML bottle of white Angelica that for all I know could be 50-90% carrier oil for all I know. I love the Plant Therapy has nothing to hide.
