Dude, you NEED headphones for Pink Floyd...trust me on that.

This guy is David Gilmour, maybe the best guitar solo of all time!!! This man is a genius, very smart and humble and he play guitar and sing like a god. You have to listen more Pink Floyd and Gilmour songs, with headphones!

The issue about headphones is due to how they use background and ambient sound/music that you'll only hear with headphones. Their Endless River album was almost entirely this type of music. Trust us, get headphones n re-listen when you can, you'll be amazed. We just don't want you to miss it, that's all.

I don't have the words to describe how much I love Pink Floyd and I know a lot of Pink Floyd lovers feel that way. I'm very happy to see that you have found your way to their music. You'll probably get a lot of suggestions and you can't go wrong with any of them. Some people will tell you that you *have* to listen to their albums from beginning to end because they're made to be listened to that way, and they are, but it's really not necessary. This song is from the album The Wall, which is brilliant. Another song from The Wall that should be on your list if it isn't already is *Hey You.* Also, don't avoid their longer songs. *Echoes* is a 23 minute masterpiece that goes by all to quickly and will leave you wanting more. 💗

Don't think I've listened to Floyd with thunder in the background, so thumbs up for that. I use some relatively low cost headphones, maybe 30-40$, makes all the difference in the world, instead of the music coming straight at you, it bounces around in your head.

The band is magnificent, live, in studio, on an am setting on the radio. However, they were purposely experimenting with sound and they purposely recorded their music to go back and forth from speakers in stereo. With headphones you can hear much more of the details that’s all. And it’s worth every dime brother!!!❤❤❤

The best thing about watching peoples first time listening to this is I sort of relive the feelings of pure amazement. Echoes live at Pompeii is so good, they were all young men then.

No one like Pink Floyd. We were so blessed with musical geniuses. The music was definately on the list of my greatest moments of my generation. GEN X, " We have the legends." I can't even begin to explain how rich the 70s and 80s and 90s were. We thought it would last forever. We are sorry it won't. But within you, it can. This music WILL change you. Keep listening to solos uninterrupted.

Two suggestions. SRV Stevie Ray Vaughn Texas Flood Live at El Mocambo .. SRV and Jeff Healey Look at little sister Live. Jeff is a blind guitarist that usually plays sitting down with the guitar in his lap. Both of these suggestions are fire.

Gilmour is one of an number of truly great English guitarists - most came from London. Clapton, Jeff Beck, Peter Green, Jimmy Page, Steve Howe, Richie Blackmore and others. England, and especially London was THE place to be then.

So I seen them in 94 in Dallas, I'll never forget it as it was so amazing. This was after they had already played the whole Dark side of the moon album. Another great album you should check out.

Pink Floyd wishes they would have thought of a thunderstorm in the background. That took this song to the next level. I know it wasn't on purpose , but it worked out really great.
