I couldn't believe how many famous people were in this movie. Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, even Sofia Coppola! It was even directed by Sofia's father, Francis Ford Coppola, of the Godfather Trilogy fame!

I used to see this come on HBO in the 80s. I never realized Jim Carrey was in this. I recognized Nic Cage from Raising Arizona and Kathleen Turner.

I just love watching Cage capture the essence of being a 60s teenager - he pulls it off *exactly* and I find it so hard to reconcile this boy with his characters in 8mm, Face-Off, It Could Be You etc ... such a great actor - he really gets into the frame 💯💯

It's Catherine hicks she most notably played in child's play as Andy's mother and turbulence staring ray liotta coincidentally to her right is joan Allen who would co star in face off a couple years later with nic cage

@@Philmoscowitz You might have seen her face as the mother in the hit T.V. series "7th Heaven" the series that launched Jessica Biel as a major rising starlet. Funny, when I see Hicks' face, especially when smiling and certain angles, I think she could have played the blonde, blue-eyed sister of Sean Young. The nose and when she smiles, she has a similar kind of smile, the face structure and facial proportions, even the eyes in certain photos.

Nicholas Cage sounds so stupid in this movie, like Wayne Newton. His fake teeth are pathetic too. Don't know why he insisted on getting to sound and look so ridiculous. He was working with Kathleen Turner, full of grace, and he made himself look like a complete idiot. Many others could have played his part much better.
