Hi, Simone was 19 years old at the time. This song and others belong to the 2 meter sessies (We will take you with us)recorded March 2004. The pianist is called Coen Janssen and is still the keyboarder of Epica, the dark haired singer is called Linda van Summeren and is now married to Coen, the blonde is called Amanda Somerville, if I am not mistaken Amanda gave Simone singing lessons.

This was recorded in 2004, Simone was 19 at the time. Her voice has evolved since, for the better imo.

take a listen to patricia janeckova's version of this song! it is far superior & more emotional! patricia was 20 when she recorded the song! sadly, she died last october from breast cancer, aged 25!!

@@normankennith7919 Patricia was my favourite opera singer. I can't even watch that tribute video because it's breaking my heart. Simone is not an opera singer though, she's a classically trained metal singer, most often using mixed voice. She's not the best in acting, but I still love her. She writes great lyrics and has a wonderful unique soprano. Not to mention she's a gorgeous woman too.

That was a 2004 live TV studio session, where they performed several songs from their debut album. The session is called "We Will Take You With Us". Make sure you find a newly remastered video in HD quality.

Something that might interest you, is a singer Faouzia singing Fur Elise. (Beethoven didn't write lyrics for Fur Elisa, but he did like doing variations, and this does both, lyrics and arrangement. Suggesting the live version)
