Government can implement measures for safety of women. 1. Street lighting very poor. Need to have bright street lighting which can help identify people or any danger lurking. Check countries like UAE how they have bright street lights. 2. Every woman needs 2 items a whistle and pepper spray. 3. Emergency number to call Police on fingertips and police should respond in minutes. 4. Education for young men to learn to respect women. There should be campaigns, advertisements and continuous reinforcing the subject of respect for women. 6. Crimes against women should be fast tracked and woman concerned should be given support in form of counseling. 7. Society needs to bring back good values and good behaviour towards all citizens irrespective of caste creed colour religion or gender. 8. Every sexual offender needs to be registered and we need to know their whereabouts which should be made available on a government public portal.

I would like to appreciate you for asking men about being assulated too, because no one talks about that. Everybody knows that women at some point of time faces such kind of situations but no one cares about the other gender. I always feel that being assaulted or molested for a man and woman is same but we only talk about the woman. I'm a girl but i feel like my safety is same as the safety of my brother. Don't just provide a safe environment for woman but for a human being irrespective of their gender. It will help in the formation a better society.
