On 8 April 1957, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh were greeted by French President René Coty at Paris-Orly Airport, as the pair began their State Visit to France. During her time in the French capital, the Queen laid a wreath at the Arc de Triomphe and visited the British Embassy.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla today begin their own State Visit to France. Following in the footsteps of Elizabeth II, the pair are expected to be welcomed by President Emmanuel Macron before taking part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe.

Even though there is no sound you can see the solemnity in HLMQEII's body language. You can feel that switch from when she was inspecting the troops to when she saw the spread of flowers and went somber. I do feel HLMQEII honored her military and I appreciate that is where HLMQEII drew the line when it came to them being abandoned. HLMQEII was an honorable military leader probably because she too served in the war and remembered what WWII was like.

Why do you have to say "Young" in the title? It's Queen Elizabeth II. It's 1957. Can someone at ITN advise as to when Her Majesty ceased being "young"? I love your uploads, by the way. Just loathe the way you title them. Thanks.
