I animated part of this song to promote it, as I love it and feel it's stupidly under rated, I credited you guys and left links so hopefully you should gain a couple fans! 💙💙💙
Lyrics for people like me who like them Still stuck in my bed try to remember how unscrew my head that’s too left brain right now. I washed my hair, I’m still a mess I’m having trouble getting dressed. I’ve still got memories to repress, but I hear my mama saying If your sad and you know it, and you don’t want to show it, clap your hands. If you are sad, that’s ok you can clap it all away just clap your hands. Come clap your hands. (sad) We’re all a little sad. (sad) We’re all a little sad. It’s getting hard to justify my thoughts and where I’m coming from, understand how I got here, how I became what I’ve become, they say that if I try that I could maybe be someone, but I’m scared because I know deep down that day may never come. If you’re sad and you know it, and you don’t want to show it, clap your hands. If you are sad, that’s ok you can clap it all away just clap your hands. Come clap your hands. (sad) We’re all a little sad. (sad) We’re all a little sad. Shut up and be happy, it’s all in your head. Grow up and be happy ‘cuz it ain’t that bad. That’s what my doctor says. Unless you’d rather be, unless you’d rather be. Sad and you know it, and you don’t want to show it, clap your hands. If you’re sad, that’s ok you can clap it all away just clap your hands. Come clap your hands. (sad) We’re all a little sad. Come clap your hands. We’re all a little sad. Edit: I got these lyrics off of a website and if they don’t match up, just make your own comment of the lyrics.
I don't usually say this but at first when I discovered this song I instantly loved it, me being someone who doesn't know how to deal with emotions and if I'm exaggerating in feeling them, this song for me is like a comfortable greeting and a slap in the face to stop being dumb sometimes and I'm not a masochist but I love it (Kk, the part about the doctor is so relatable)
@@philip666 , either way I'm gonna support all their beginnings. I loved their stuff as YRS, but if they're taking a different approach (I know they also were getting kinda tired of gaining recognition from only one song, "High"), it's refreshing and good for them.
I found this a few years ago while finding songs for some characters I made. I was going through depression (I still am). This song finally put my thoughts into words about how I was feeling. It's been hard getting help somewhat due to my autism. I was going through depression and anxiety for so long that it kind of became the only thing I've known about myself. Hopefully when I can get my medicine I will do better. Thank you for such an amazing song!
This is such lovely piece I love the sarcasm mixed with genuine joy, it’s just such a bop. It’s inspired a big chunk for a story I’m working on, so hell yes
Here on New Years's eve alone (like every year) but still listening this masterpiece looping. Happy New Year to everyone who is sad but not going to surrender to that. (Thank you guys for this incredible addicting song
Spotify recommended this song to me last week and it's quickly become a favourite of mine. It actually makes me smile, so I guess the clapping works. :)
I just randomly found this song cause i was struggling with school work and was upset. So i looked up “if your sad and you know it clap your hands 👏 👏 ” hoping there was a remix. This wasn’t what i was expecting, but i’m glad i found it.
I really like this song, but sad music just gets me thinking about sad parts of life, especially while listening to the song, it's like a catalyst for depression because It spikes the emotions and you're thinking about your depressing moments so there's a good chance of making even more depressing related thoughts and the idea just spiderwebs into something to create full on depression.
Found this gem on Spotify. I've been under the weather because of stress lately, but this song really made me smile. Thank you, and keep writing more!!
