Yes that is true, if the schools have vacancies they can accept non boarding students, then the city pays a sum for their (the ordinary) lessons. Lunch in school is free for all students, (law), so they have to eat at some house. Sara of course eats lunch in the girls dining room (separate only at Hillerska, it’s not common in Sweden to separate boys and girls, sometimes even the dorms are mixed…) …🙃😳 (I guess “Sprucewood House” have some non borders too, we don’t know.)
Aw thank you 🙏🏻. I’ve been waiting for you two to react to this show 😍. The actor that plays Simon is a popstar in Sweden. This is his first actingjob. The actor that plays the prince has been an actor since he was five years old. He is amazing I think. So excited to follow you on the second episode.
the scene where simon shades the royal family TO WILHELM'S face just to spite the rich kids is the one where i fell in love with him. my boy may make some mistakes here and there but he has spirit and guts.
YR is amazing ... you have to pay attention though.... The creators use everything to tell this story they do not waste a frame or a prop .... A LOT is done using sub-tex .... pay attention to even the songs laid over each scene .. is not just a cool soundtrack . If you go back and listen to the song playing in the opening scene it tells you exactly what is going to be happening in the series .
This series is truly amazing. One of the things you will find (almost only by repeated watchings) is that Lisa Ambjörn, the creator and head writer, believes her audience to be very smart. The series is short (only 6 episodes) so a lot of information is packed into each episode. Not so much by dialogue but by sub-text. Lisa has said that everything in the script is there for a reason. Themes introduced and chords struck here in episode one will appear later and even again in season 2. So it's really fun to keep your wits about you and watch for the themes that will resonate throughout the whole series. The first one, of course, is the breaking of the fourth wall.
The moonshine he talked about is typically an American high-proof alcohol, usually whiskey, that was made and distributed illegally during prohibition .
August is the WORST !! At some points I really want to strangle him, but you will see.... I'm looking forward for the last season ! Thanks for the reaction 🎉😊
