I agree with you that August will be fine for a bit. He enjoys having a purpose and didn't really enjoy partying anyway (remembering how he had to put on a smile in the mirror in The Society room before the third year party at the start of season 2). He's not like Nils and Vincent. He works hard and wants to excel and will look forward to the role. As Wille says, he is the only person in the RF who would have chosen the role, unlike Wille's parents and Wille. However, remembering how August said to Sara in season 2 that he needs the adhd pills in order to function under pressure. (He says this to her just after he's decided to throw the pills away and then gets called by Jan Olaf and is given loads of instructions including the military work he is expected to do). He will need therapy a lot to get through the pressures of the role. Hopefully he takes what he's learned about himself whilst being with Sara, to keep growing and learning to like himself.

I think the main reason I sympathised with her so much is that her story resonates a lot with me, especially my relationship with my own sister. A lot of stuff happens in families, and you just have to forgive... As for reactions, I am dropping Mary & George tomorrow, and Interview with the Vampire next week! Something quite different! 💜💜💜
Don't feel bad about crying! I cried through the last 20 minutes of this episode I think and was SOBBING by the end - have yet to see anyone watch it and NOT cry I mean, we're only human and this show took us THROUGH IT! Couldn't be happier with this finale. Really enjoyed your reactions to this season! 💜
Yes, such a bundle of sweet resolutions. One wee crack for me was the deus ex machina (??) of the sudden return to sanity of the queen. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed and appreciated.
