Young Thug Attorney Wants Rapper to Appear in Court for In-Cam Review: 'I Respectfully Disagree'

During the end of court on Wednesday, Young Thug attorney Brian Steel fought for his client to be apart of the in-camera review of the Kenneth Copeland ex-parte matter on July 1. Steel believed his client should be in the courtroom. "I respectfully disagree," Judge Ural Glanville said. Attorney Steel filed a motion to disqualify Judge Glanville due to the ex parte meeting, but it was denied for lack of evidence.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.

People in that county just need to vote during the next election cycle. Way too much importance is placed on who the president is going to be and the local judges and prosecutors are more or less ignored. This applies in most counties too. This needs to change

But if you a judge that's unfair, disrespectful to only one side of the member in the court, and assisting one side with winning a case to be guilty. Judges may initiate, permit, or consider ex parte communications when authorized by law to do so, such as when issuing temporary protective orders, arrest warrants, or search warrants, or when serving on therapeutic, problem-solving, or accountability courts, including drugs courts, mental health courts, and veterans' courts. Judge got room to work with. In that. Just hope woody didn't need protection from money being on his head or something similar. This is not Netflix lol! This is a real deal situation lol....

@@riojohn1917 Right! I don't think he's corrupt at all. What I see is am irritated man who doesn't realize the power of the subconscious mind. Judge Glanville has severe PTSD which hasn't been a problem since he brings his dog, Jack, to work with him. However, this is the longest trial in Georgia's history. It's highly publicized. Atty YSL Steele is intentionally aggravating him and it's working. With that being said, he was absolutely wrong for not notifying the defense about the ex parte meeting and convincing Woody to testify. He needs some type of admonishment for that, possibly recusal. He should give Williams bond also.

This Judge really thinks he’s the Minister of Justice for the state. Because he’s a judge, doesn’t make him an expert in law. If I was him I’d change my stance.
