I'm overwhelmed with happiness because of the warmth and love we received from you guys. I know most of you were just as excited as we were.
I can't thank you enough for staying with us and celebrating the love that Slater and I have for each other.
In one way or another, you are part of this romantic narrative and I'm happy to share with you more of what went down before "I do". This vlog includes our KeTseng- or the Chinese tradition of “dowry”, our despedida de soltera party and our intimate church wedding!

I felt that same way too days before my wedding. I almost diy-ed everything, i felt overwhelmed and exhausted that excitement has no more place for my emotions. But, during the wedding day-it was overwhelming with joy. Happy for you two. 😍

You are so blessed and I am happy what you’ve achieved inspite of all the fame you still keep your feet on the ground. And also inspite of loads of things to be done on your wedding day/prep ( a whole week) with work on side, you kept it chill and done! I was the same on our wedding. Im such a sentimental person but on my wedding day I didnt feel anything. 😂 I felt so emotional drained from all the prep that I just want it to be over with. How much more sa inyo na week-long event plus work pa. Your wedding was beautiful!

Just had my ke tseng last weekend and yes there's many things that had to be prepared. My inlaws didnt require each new clothing or pair of shoes to be boxed one by one, just prepare 2 big balikabayan boxes and filled it with new stuff 😂 but good for you for nice lamps, we had to get the traditional chinese red lanterns. Wedding in 10 days!

It still fascinates me how the Chinese Filipinos assimilated with the other FIlipinos (morenos and mestizos) while keeping their culture and traditions. In my hometown in Bicol, a Chinese family transacts with their customers in our native tongue but you can hear them speaking in a Sinitic language (probably Hokkien) with each other. Best wishes!

All the Chinese traditional things to prepare for a wedding seems exhausting. Any wedding preparation can be overwhelming. I had to cut out a lot of our traditional culture bc it can be costly & had a budget to keep & still be happy about. What was lovely both sides of our parents incorporated things that we couldn’t do & turned out an enjoyable celebration 😂😇
