Ngl I rarely get behind the hype of a young talent cause so much can change leading over the years, but this guy??? Naw he looks legit. I can see what so many colleges want him, his precision and how he runs his routes explosiveness and sudden snap stop out of breaks is crazy. There’s some nfl dbs that I can think of right now that he’d route up and that’s crazy given the fact he’s only played one season of HIGH SCHOOL like holy crap this kid is gonna be good
It's fun seeing all these kids these days that have 5 stars and many D1 offers. I come from a small town and was the only ever player to receive multiple stars even though the football program in town was older than the town it's self. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA with a total of 26 D1 offers as a 4 star linebacker/strong safety. I was also the smallest linebacker in the Midwest standing at 5'5 as a sophmore in highschool. I chose the USMC over going to college to play football. I went on to have a career of 21 long years with 4 full tours and 7 deployments under my belt. I wish I could go back in time and commit to a school instead of the military.
My brother (former college player) became one of my high school football coaches. He would go around the school and look for talent. Found 2 basketball players and turned them into cornerbacks, found big kids roaming the halls and turned them into o-linemen. Turned a bully into a linebacker who played alongside me. There’s talent everywhere in schools, sometimes they just need to direction and a bit of positive influence.
He looks very raw. Is he humble because I could see him having.to redshirt and develop before playing. Nice size, good hands, breaks are slow getting out of and he doesn't look to be fast but more of a slant receiver.
