The Force is the most underrated piece of Hardware on the market, even after 3 years. Its the one of the best products Akai have ever made, and this is coming from an MPC historian who has been using MPC's for almost 30 years. I dumped my MPC Live II Retro immediately after getting this. I think it took Akai more than 2 years to actually understand what they had created and now only with 3.1 its finally being realised. Its not perfect...but I could not give this machine up for anything else on the market. Nothing touches it for what it does as an all in one. This video shows it in a brilliant light how versatile it is when an Artist gets hold of it. Its a special bit of kit. The only negative about it is that the CPU is a little slow when you have complexed sets loaded up...i'm sure the Force6 and the Force replacement if it ever comes will be superbly equipped and ill be first in the queue.
Absolutely second this. Ridiculously underrated, but it’s making a comeback. Both popularity-wise and price-wise! Dipped down to $1099 for a while, now it’s $1299 neck and neck with Live II. Excellent value either way
It’s seems to be abletob push integrated with a big screen, really cool…it’s got to be awesome for live set sample performance since you have a great visual reference as what’s you are pressing on?
Mesmerizingly brilliant! What a performance Youngr! Quite simply superb.I hope Akai get on to you,as you will shift serious units displaying this at music shows with your talents.Amazing multi tasking going on there.I've had the Akai Force for a couple of months, and this is the first time I have seen someone show off what the capabilities and possibilities of this hardware can do involving a musician, and a dj combined.
I swear I was thinking of selling this joint...until I saw this video!! Fire video!! Akai really needs to holler at you bro; you could single handedly sell thousands of these!!!!
This guy needs commission from the manufacturers Just finished saving up and bought a Roland fantom after seeing him playing Now I need an akai force LOL Really enjoyed the vid and music. What a talent
it's so funny to think the title of this video is "tries out the force update". man your talent and vibe is absolutely stratospheric you made my morning, thank you so much for sharing so inspiring.
I have watched a lot of your videos and I can honestly say that this jam by far is one of my top favorites just based on melody, vocal sample work and playing around with filters and tones 3:40 and on is just absolute killer. Keep up the brilliant work brother! Much love 👊🧡👍
super mega extra cool !!! The Akai, the whole studio and, most of all, the "job" you've done !! Great!! Art, Fun, know how, and all it takes it's there!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Awesome video of the standalone abilities this Beauty has.....I am building a home studio and had been contemplating with the Push 2 but this Akai Force.....Bruh!!! Major Kudos👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Best performance I have seen on the force for a long time! Please do more content with it, u really know how to use it! Short question: Which note Settings do u use the most?
Thanks for sharing. Great performance. Using the Akai obviously allows one to play multiple "instruments" on his/her own, live. It's amazingly versatile. Reminds me when, in the old days, one could play the guitar (with hands) , harmonica (neck-mounted), and drums (with feet) and that was impressive, too; the Akai is certainly more complex and demanding than that, as there's so much more going on here. Very impressive, if that by itself is worth the effort required to master it!
That's pure dope! For me Force is an instrument and you are one of the best performer on Force! It seems so easy with you. It looks a bit chaotic at first than it shines, and we don't see where the melodic phrases come from! Very nice 💯💥🌈
Hitting note and launch at same time will give you launch buttons on top of drum kit so you dont have to tap the screen to start recording. You can also just hit the record button i tink
Awesome! Can you please explain how did you record real drums. U are the first person I have seen doing it! I saw few people recording songs in real time with acoustic instruments with the push 2. But so far u are the first suing acoustic instruments with the force! Awesome
I am totally TOTALLY Impressed! With your skills, musicality, performance etc.etc.. I am gonna purchase one myself this week, and hope I will not get disappointed! One question..I see you struggle sometimes with the touchscreen, is it that bad?
Brother! I'm in California... I basically kinda run a solar setup, but I play guitar, and use the mpcx. (With a mx49) You got major energy bro!!! 👏 we damn near should link man , 🥶💯
The midi bass note extended seemed the hardest dexterity 😂. We need a pinch zoom and a lasso select tool (mult). This is such a different way than my normal flow. Been using my Zenbeats a lot and dig clip launching and clip based composing, considering the Roland MV but this just looks like something that would work better. Great job btw!
i like how there's just like a minute and a half dead space in the music with him flipping frantically thru menus and then like 2 bass notes come in and a couple one shots lol
Love the great work you are doing. As a bit of gear nerd i was thinking of adding an akai force to My ableton push2. But the big question i have is workflow, do you mainly record audio loops not midi loops. It seems akai is more geared towards standalone audio recording without needing a computer on stage. However how are you syncing midi clock with ableton software and your other outboard rhythm composers? You must have a multichannel midi interface right?
._.oh my man..I'd so much love to listen to your insane skills..doing industrial or dark techno on this top machine..would be a tooth brusher for sure! Go on crazy..hux._.
