Classic trauma sharing. Like I totally get her laughing and having fun while expressing her trauma. His reaction is exactly why I stopped sharing stories about my childhood. Those school assignments where they're like "tell us about a time when..." and trying to rack my brain for something safe to share and then still getting that reaction cause what I didn't think was trauma actually was.
