I have a metal sharpener that was made in Germany on Amazon. It sharpens through plastic pencils like butter. It has three different openings for three different size pencils. Huge pencils, normal pencils, and even tiny pencils. I didn’t even notice the hole for tiny pencils until this morning. I got a two pack for $8, and haven’t even broken into the second one yet. Best $8 I have ever spent!

I bought it three years ago and it doesn’t have a brand name. Search metal cosmetics sharpener, make sure it’s German. They are cheap and so worth it.

Same! Metal pencil sharpeners are far superior. Read the reviews, I purchased one that mentioned sharpening makeup products.

Metal Art pencil sharpeners have been the only way I’ve found to get the point. The Pat McGrath sharpener sounds like what I’ve been searching for. I purchased SO many sharpeners trying to replicate but many give a squared off tip or just don’t sharpen to a fine enough point. You always talk about the most interesting things❤ Also love the lip and hair, this look is 🔥

Dont get me started. I recently bought one of the new kylie lipliners and they're not that long compared to a MAC lipliner for example and i used an elf shapener that snapped a big chunk of it and it hurt my heart. So im on the hunt for a new sharpener and am using a loreal one i ordered from ebay, for the moment

Amazon. Get a metal one, German made. It has saved my pencils. Covergirl’s eyeliner, the exhibitionist one, I completely ruined it because it’s more of a plastic casing, it cuts through it like butter. They are very inexpensive too. The one I have has three openings for different sized pencils. Large, medium and very small.

I’ve noticed sharpeners matter but have always struggled to find the perfect sharpener. I’m an artist too so I’m really picky about pencil sharpening. I’ve been using the Glossier sharpener for years. I have one for makeup and one for colored pencils lol. But nothing to fit those chunky pencils. I need to check out that Ulta sharpener!

Can you give a demo on how to sharpen without losing the product? For example, I ALWAYS loose the product after a fresh sharpen. The tip falls out of the pencil every time!

I always have trouble sharpening the NYX Jumbo eye pencils or any other plasticky pencils like it. It just seems like the plastic doesn't want to sharpen. I also have trouble sharpening pencils with really creamy product inside, the product just breaks immediately and I'm left with a tiny but of eyeliner surrounded by eye gouging splinters.

I'm pretty sure it started out that way but eventually pencils were made diff sizes bc of reasons like eye shape, better grip, etc

I have a Clinique sharpened that is my fave. This is so true! I have to say watching that MAC pencil get destroyed in the Ilia sharpener was cringe worthy 🥹
