Over the past weeks I've started to look into SEO and how blogging as a business model is profitable - and there is so much out there that walks like a scam, talks like a scam and, well, you know how it goes. As a result I grew very sceptical very quickly. There are some good beans with tangible information and pointers out there, and you're one of them. Watching your videos, I actually get keywords and pointers that I can use as starting points to do more research to gather the information and tools / skills that are needed to make a project like this work.
So much value in just 18 minutes. I started blogging last year and made a lot of mistakes and this video tutorial provided such a clear roadmap. Thanks Adam!

Been following Adam for a while and trying his advice. The reaching is the most uncertain part since very little of the outcome is within your control. I've sent over 50, managed to secure 3 guest posts. However, 2 of them asked for money in return so if I limit only on the one that accept for free, it would be 1 guest post out of 50+ outreach. Kind of disheartening rate tbh

In the past 10 days I've reaching to about 25 website for a link building opportunity and send email based on value (although i don't have enough value as new blogger but I'm trying my best) anyway, I've been able to aquire 2 guest posts from (mass guest posting sites, which are barely doing anything to my DR but better than nothing) and all the other sites ask me for money to accept guest post ,, my question is what should i do now ,, I don't want to buy links ,,, can you help me or guide me about this topic ,,,, and is it normal that those sites ask for money ?
Good to know, you are trying for back links. Try to give them a very good guest post with good topic. Provide value as much as you can.. I am also beginner blogger and will want to know how you contacted them for link?
A lot of sites might ask for money, but you may be slightly targeting the wrong sites. For example, target sites in your niche that are companies - not blogs. For example, if I'm in the software niche, I'd reach out to Mailchimp, Hostinger, etc. and not random blogs asking for money.
@Adam Enfroy. Thank for all the information, tips, and advice. I have a question that I need help with. When you are testing various pockets of content within a niche, do you optimize it on page and let Google index it or try to add links that are homogeneous in value and strength to accelerate indexing?
You think 13 posts in the first 3 months is enough to start with? I've seen other 'schools' or programs recommending up to 6o blog posts in the first few months!!!
do both! Guest posting is ideal for a new site as it looks more natural. Link insertions can be more powerful because you can look for pages that also have backlinks.
@@ryanbrown1181 I disagree respectful, not every "how to" posts can reach 2,000 words, unless you want to add irrelevant information to the post then I agree with you on that.
