@JMH Just curious - that photograph as your banner in your profile… Is that the largest US flag ever made for the Guinness book of world records or what? It was pretty cool figuring out that there were soldiers underneath the flag too.
@anti-ethniccleansing465 oh, that banner. It's from a baseball game in San Diego on July 4th for National Antham. It's the Holiday Bowl flag from college football bowl game. Custom made just for the game. I think these are sailors from an aircraft carrier in port.
@@Vub. Not lying? "Man I just now picked them up so I don't think I need life jackets for them, I'm actually dropping them off right here right here so they don't need em" So you're saying he came and picked someone up who wanted to be dropped off right then right there? Ya OK, he's not lying
Omg, that's hilarious, it actually had a hole in the front of the boat. These people are a trip, I'm sure they saw that boat first and knew something wasn't quite right. 😅
A 1st timer BUI is not going to loose your vehicle driver license. In fact you do not need a license to "operate" a boat in the state of FL , & only one state has boat license know as a vessel license and IIRC that's Alabama. They also have a V class endorsement for your "driver license" which is for Vessel. BTW a boater ed-card is not a license
@@stefanforrer2573 He was wrong and mistaken, a boater ed card is not a "boating license", just like my "hunters ed card " is not a hunting license. i can only think of one state that has a boater license and that is backwards Alabama
@@kfelix2934They are pretty relaxed down there, I'm used to up in MN here they pull your DL for 90 days your first DUI, and you can get a DUI up here even mowing your grass drunk on a riding lawn mower, I know someone who got one because he was drinking a beer on his rider and a cop driving by seen the Bud Light can and stopped and came in his yard and gave him a breathalyzer and arrested him, the law doesn't state anything about a public roadway it's just that you can get a DUI operating a motor vehicle anywhere in the state so they can apply it no matter where you are or what your doing lol, then when you lose your license you can get in trouble for driving a boat or even an ATV on an ATV trail with a revoked license now. They don't mess around up here with that stuff, get a DUI and the only thing you can drive is a bicycle lol.
What does that have to do with these trashy crackheads getting rightfully arrested for endangering themselves and everyone around them?@@JohnSmith-bw9wu
Dude. Just made the same comment. There’s something about nice cars, decent motorcycles and literally any motorized boat that creates a magnetic field that attracts women. It’s fucking wild.
What's wild is the officers were actually pretty good before things got heated. Just flat out telling him they're going to arrest him based on what they see.
He just had a couple beers...every 30 minutes since he woke up that morning. "Hey guys...let's go out on the boat to celebrate my new drivers license I just got 4 days ago!!!"
It was three hour tour! The captain started getting sloshed the tiny boat was lost if it weren't for the persistence of the water police the Minnow would be lost! ( gilligan's island)
Naa bro. I’ve known many of these Florida good ol boy types. He’s that dude that’s always looking to be jump old men with his buddies and beat them to a pulp and act like they started it. The last thing this kind of dude would do is ever call any cops. He might know where a few bodies are buried
Yeah really... what a POS rust bucket! Actually it's more like rotted flotsam with an engine cobbled onto it. I wouldn't want to board it even on dry land.
@@VinlaellThan you don't comprehend at all. Seems the passengers were surprised about the water seeping though a busted transom. What, no props for the FWC LEO heading for the sand bar to keep the old boat from going under, began as soon as the passengers pointed it out while the drunk was arguing everything was OK. You'll find someway to hate and ignore props plainly present.
@@Vinlaell oh yes.. of course... drunk guy says "little bitty leak past a rivet".. camera pans down to a bucket not being able to keep up with the water coming in. Obviously not "dealing with it", drunk people are often not the right people you need to be dealing with anything
When I was in HS my classmates father was killed in a boating accident. The driver was intoxicated. These officers are doing their job and these civilians are lucky no one got hurt.
Just fyi, the cops had made up their minds that he was going to jail before ever having him board their boat for further tests. Those further tests were being done for the sole purpose of building the states case against that man, and nothing more. That way, when and if he refuses to do a breathalyzer or other scientifically backed test that would 100% prove their case, they still had the sobriety test results and footage of it to still present a pretty rock solid case to the court. The state doesn't like to lose DUI or BUI cases after their has been an arrest made for it... that can end up in a pretty expensive (for the state) counter suit, so the arresting officers are trained to make that case as airtight as possible at the time of arrest.
@@nicobluewheeler6991 Huh? It makes perfect sense. A passenger in that boat either sinks with it or they swim to survive! Is English difficult for you?
@@JackFromWyoming1st BUI doesn't effect drivers license unless he's had 2 DUI before. 2nd BUI is counted like a 1st DUI without the punishment of a DUI, just a count number, if DUIs are gotten later.
I gotta be honest. I loved this one. It was just so funny and chaotic. The boat driver actually seemed like a pretty entertaining guy aside from being very drunk.
Not just drunk. These are meth heads yall. I live in the Florida panhandle and I see it every day and saw many people I grew up with ending up this way, including one of my best friends when I was in high school. Straight meth heads now... and this exactly how they act. Shits sad fr
These guys put up with way more than I expected them too. And still gave everyone a ride and tried to help him keep his boat from sinking. Kudos to these officers.
Giving a field sobriety test is like trying to let a cat out of a door. "I'll do the tests, actually I refuse, no wait I'll do the tests, ok no actually I don't want to, wait wait I want to do the tests".
Why? Because he is a guy who has a boat in Florida? And likes to drink? Wow. What a good stereotype! I’ve never seen any people with substance abuse problems in other states. Nailed it!
@@WilliamBTCWallace It's a meme, dude...take the knot outta your shorts. Having a boat is fine. Liking a drink is fine. Having a drink while on your boat is not necessarily fine. Having a drink on your boat and not taking good enough care of it to have it sink as the police take you away for BWI is kinda hilarious.
The link below is an abstract that validates this seated test, meaning when it was blindly tested.....those with a BAC of less than .08 passed the seated test. Read it, don't read it.....but I posted it for you because you know that little paper they are making marks on while observing the person perform the tests? Scroll down the page of that link and you'll find...... That piece of paper they are holding. It's how they score those stupid tests. It's fairly straightforward and pretty ease to figure out, but you'll understand the "indicators" they are looking for....when you've had too much to drink. Think about it this way: Field Sobriety Tests. Land or water. You can't PASS these tests. Nobody can. You can only FAIL them. They are only looking for indicators that are present when your over the limit. higherlogicdownload.s3.amazonaws.com/NASBLA/67127f40-7467-4747-b21a-61953c87cb71/UploadedImages/AAP_Validation_of_sobriety_tests_for_the_marine_environment_030511.pdf D
There is no pass/fail. If you're naive enough to perform them, you get arrested for bui and you become the state's star witness against yourself as the leo lies to the jury and tells them you were impaired.
There is no pass or fail. There’s clues of impairment for each event. Those officers do train on each other. They also get volunteers to come in and drink and then have FSTs done on them so the officers can see the difference between a sober person and drunk person.
Simply decline the test. You're getting arrested regardless. Don't be the state's best witness against yourself. The chances of lesser or dropped charges will skyrocket
@@fastinradfordable So you don't think this dude was drunk AF, and by driving a boat was endangering everyone else out on the water? You would prefer drunk driving (in boat or on land) be legal? Are you currently drunk or just really, really dum as F??
