I am 52 and I blow bubbles. I sit in my yard on lovely sunny days and blow bubbles. Particularly when I feel stressed. Dish soap, water, and a paperclip. ;)

I always lived like this. It feels me. I am autistic and so I don't follow any beauty standards-I put my comofort first. Me and my husband are alsp child free (we used to get a lot of fleck about it from people). I never wanted a big lavish life. Just peace and quiet. Having plants, a dog, a good book. And a box of colored pencilns. I am happy with my life.

I try to romanticize my daily chores, not rushing through everything. I enjoy cooking and try to prepare everything for the recipe very slowly, feeling the different textures, smelling the ingredients, watching the clean water from the tap splashing out. It's a long way getting there but definitely worth it. I've been rushing through my whole life before with kids and job and everything. I also like observing nature. It's like meditation for me,.thanks for this absolutely powerful video! ❤

" To Thine Own self Be True " I am nearly 79 years old and took myself off to Yoga lessons when I was 14 years old , how times have changed they are now mainstream , so have the courage to lead by example . To lead a spiritual life you do not have to go around in sackcloth and ashes just find a balance that resonates with yourself . I love not to wear shoes a simple pleasure .

I love sleeping out in nature in my minivan. There are many places in my state (Minnesota) where I can camp for free. I have a little flickering lantern that provides the nicest ambience. It feels like a nest with my comfy trifold mattress.

I enjoy drawing.. and I know it is not completely free if we take into account that paper and pencil cost money.. but that is all I need- a paper and a pencil..and I am happy 🙂 also, then when I think of things that are entirely free- I really like to take a walk with my husband or go for a walk with my dog.. just that- a 30min walk is just enough to feel fulfilled 🤗

I totally agree with what you’re saying. We’re kind of being “farmed,” raised to think we need more, consume more, owe more. I’m going to my library more often, and I’ve joined a (free) knitting group which I absolutely love! I really enjoy walking and wandering. Good video Lia🦔

Totally support your message! I like seeing people living their own authentic life and being who they want to be, not influenced by advertisements and trends. I kinda figured out how to not be influenced just by ditching all social media, I don't watch TV and don't see any advertisements on RU-vid either cause of the subscription. After 33 years old I stopped putting on make up and embraced how I am, being just yourself is indeed a powerful thing. By accepting yourself we also become kinder to others and more curious for different lifestyles and paths, also less judgemental.

in the US, at least where i live, we have a community free puzzle library and also some public libraries will keep puzzles. I love doing a puzzle over the course a few weeks and community sharing keeps this hobby free for me. I also love playing sudoku, preferably on paper! I bought a big book of sudoku so its technically not free still but you can find free ones to print online

So powerful! In my youth in the 80's and 90's there were a whole lot more different styles as a teenager (punk, new wave, snob, grunge, house, ...), we expressed ourselves (yes, it was a group but we had a choice). But now my kids look like all the other ones, it seems there is only one standard. This morning my daughter of 16 was diagnosed with vertiligo so she will look different and not 'perfect', this is hard to hear for a young girl and i also said: you are different but you are good the way you are, please accept that en live a strong life! At 53 everything is much easier ;-). Your whole video is very strong!

I love going for a walk with a friend and talk about ups and downs of our ordinary life ❤ . I also love watching TV shows with my teenage girls or listening about their everyday struggles and weird ideas and dreams. I love watching the laziness and sometimes craziness of our cats. I like your statement. Even as we know we can live our life the way we want to it's so human to compare our lifes. And it really feels kind of liberating to have friends in real live (or here) that live different lives ( if they can do it as they want we can do it as we want - especially if it's not the way kapitalism wants us to).

I love identifying plants! Whether it's on a hike or just in my yard! I do pay yearly for an ID app, but it has a free version. There's also plenty of free info online or your library may have local ID books. I love all plants but it's also really empowering to learn the edible ones. Another way to resist capitalism and return to nature 💚

I totally agree - self-actualization cannot be bought! I think another interesting component of this is the culture of convenience and instant gratification; you can be whoever you want, but companies cash in on how quickly they can get you to acquire the material things that are marketed towards whichever identity you are trying to create for yourself. Patience and living a "boring" life go hand-in hand; self discovery is slow! Personally, I love to go beachcombing. Thanks for another great video!

I can relate in so many ways! I too quit makeup, try to consume intentionally and enjoy simple things! Still, I know that my life "speaks" to others. Even though we are different, the fact that I am trying to be authentic might help someone. A long time ago, I was sceptical to your content (it seemed extreme!), but now I appreciate your thoughts and message! Thanks for sharing your "vision of life".

I love this video! Thank you for making it, so much. I often feel pressure and worry that i am not using the "appropriate" skincare products for my age (retinol, etc, i dont even know what they are) to defy wrinkles etc. I use a jojoba oil blend and it lasts me a long time. I also was searching for makeup that i liked (not even fancy makeup, just a natural look, with something to cover dark circles under eyes) but even that is complicated, my skin is dry, the concealers are either too dry or too wet, not the right color, back and forth to the store to exchange - its exhausting. So i returned it all and am not wearing makeup right now. I kind of gave up for now. Anyway, i love how you talk about being visible to other people that you are living with less, so others can see that its an option. I want to move more in this direction. So inspiring you are! keep up the good work. Loving the Content.

I live in a high cost living city by choice, and the reason is we don’t have a car and don’t want to get one. Many people tells us that could move to the suburbs or to a cheaper town and buy a car, but I love having the public transportation available, and I know everything is expensive here, but we eat at home every day and save money to go to a nice restaurant once every 2 or 3 months and we are happy with that. Fortunately this city has so many museums and more than 20 are free, so I have been exploring the museums more and I like to have that option (that’s probably the only cheap or free thing eh you can do here). I don’t buy a lot of clothes, or wear makeup, but I do like traveling so as you said is important to put the money in the things we value the most and that we enjoy.

I think one of the good things that came out of the pandemic is that people are seeing they can do things themselves. And also I cut my own hair at home now and even though things are a bit different, I have found other ways to still stay connected to my friends and my community without spending a lot of money.

I think that true capitalism is the best way for a society to flourish, when the free market decides how much labour and goods is worth. Unfortunately we live under the fiat standard, when the money is debased continously. That is really not equal to capitalism, even if most people think so. But I agree that you don´t have to spend money all the time to live a happy life, on the contrary. Personally I prefer being at home, taking care of my garden without buying more than what I think is necessary. By the way I´m still decluttering. :) I really love your videos, even if I don´t agree all the time, and I´m looking forward to the next one. Thanks for your work!

I love just spending time with myself whether it’s reading or cooking a good meal. I have a nice view from my apartment so a lot of the time I just sit on my bed and stare out the window at the water. It doesn’t take much for me to be entertained. I do like to travel and snow ski, so that can take up a lot of time, energy, and money, but these things bring me such joy so it’s worth it to me to spend in these areas. But, after watching your videos, I have pared down so much of my things that were cluttering my life, so the extra mental space has been really nice. Thank you so much!
