Thankyou so much for the overwhelming amount of love guys! This was my baby for ages, I think I literally hyper-fixated on this for about a month, and this song was my number one on Spotify wrapped because of this video, the amount I paused and played the same bits over and over hahahah

I can understand YN's perspective. You don't want to be with someone that is so obsessive and reckless with you. They just might kill you (unintentionally of course) because they have been blinded by love. Overall, stellar work. Music and all.

This song is such clever storytelling. The reckless /careful driver analogies fit the characters well, while making you sympathetic to both arguments

Sometimes love is too captivating that it can become dangerous, in Peter's view he would do anything to be with you.. even if it means to die. This video really captures both perspectives of them, Y/N doesn't want to let go, but she must because it could kill them both. Peter, however, doesn't care where he ends up unless you're there with him. Also I love this song, it goes really well with Peter and Y/N

[Also, a detail I really like is how after the crash, Peter holds Y/N closely, like they're just having a hug. To him, the danger was nothing of concern because there Y/N is now, in his arms, and he 'loves' them. But Y/N is scared, struggling out of his grip because /holy shit he almost just killed them both/. Someone willing to do that is not someone safe to be around, and they know that. But even as they try to get away, he still restrains them. Because he still thinks that they feel the same, that they want him too, and he won't accept anything else. He might love them, but he doesn't respect them enough to believe they have autonomy. And honestly, I don't even think that he loves them. I think he's just a very fucked up individual that is terrible with emotions and thinks his feelings of obsession are actually love.] Sorry if this is inaccurate and these words don't apply to this, btw.
