I am such a huge hank fan. I can’t believe he’s in his mid 70s now. I’m the biggest hank fan. I have sighed playing cards and bandanas. I’m a bass player, I’m Also a hunter. I wish I could relic hunt and make friends with his family. I’d Play his blues songs or hunt. I’d do anything for it.
Wish his daddy his mentor could see him now how proud he has made him now , he's such a natural born talent ratings to you Mr Hank Jr nuff love coming from Jamaica....
Bocephus should of been in the Country Hall of Fame a long time ago but they have some of the New comers in there and they ain't even Country , Same with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame their screwed up!
I wish country music was like this today. Instead of that Michael Jackson pop country. Jason aldean,Luke Bryan and all them that are ruining country music
Yeah, I so agree,, I only listen to the stars from 1980 on down,,with the exception of a few new comers, country music from 80 to present has no creativity,, what they write and sing today is so not worth listening to!!!
He put his spun on it like he didn't really like it. He acted mad at someone or something . It's to bad he didn't do it like it should of been done.to honor his dad not to take away from his dad like he did in this song. I guess he figures he is better then his daddy was. He maybe in someways others he is no better at all. I'm sure Hank Jr live when he was young and his mom and everyone around him wanted him to sing like his daddy and be like him to keep Hank going with the music. That had to be hard on him. I wouldn't like it either. Live has to move on. His mom was no angel when it come to helping her son out that he didn't want to do his daddy's songs no more. Hank sing your daddy's songs with pride son. He was a good singer I'm sure he loved you with all he had in him. You may not of understood that at your tender age when he pasted away. He was very young too. I'm glad you settled down too. You followed in your daddy's foot steps a few years. But the Angels was watching over you to pick you up and fix the pieces that was broken and hurt. Now you do things your way because you can now days. Country isn't country no more us old country music people listen to the old country singers that don't get played to day on the radio if you aren't in the top 20 or 40 forget it. If it don't sound like rock and roll it's not country. I miss the steel guitars, Bass drum, and fiddles. Would be nice to hear Hank, Buck, Roy, Grandpa, Bill Anderson, we have lost lots of great singers over the past 50 years. I know Mr Anderson is still living. I heard the other day he has some new songs coming out along with Tanya Tucker. And a few other older singers we haven't heard from in years. It will be next to hear so real country on the country radio station again if they will play them. Won't hold my breath for them to play country songs again. Give me some Waylon, Cash, Haggard, the Outlaw men. Jerry Reed , Marty Robbins . I miss all these guys plus the ones I didn't mention here that I missed can't think of there name but can see them. That makes me so mad. I guess I'm getting old too because I grow up with these guys and gals. I listen to Hank on 78 records from the time I could turn the crank on the old victrola mommy had. I was about 3 years old Hank died the year I was born but I fell in n love with him at age 3. His picture was on the cover of the 78 record and I played it every day from the time I got up till I went to bed if mommy would let me. She would take the needles out and hide them from me I Ware out every needle we had. It's all gone now. All I got is the memories of it all. Live goes on. Things change but not always for the better. God Bless Hank Jr.
