I was at the store and Miliani was having a sale on their eye primer. Me and this other girl just kinda had a “stand-off” waiting to “collect” our primers. We both laughed and said “Emily”. It was a funny and awkward situation!
Absolutely agree! She's not like the "typical" RU-vidrs. She spoke up and supports important things like black lives matter, but she doesn't feed into the drama that goes on. She is one of the few women that gave me enough confidence to start my channel and not be afraid about the fact that I'm different and to just ignore the hate. 🤗👌💖💯👍
You and Zabrena are my favorites I just think that both of you are beautiful classy ladies that I can actually learn somenthing from. Been a subscriber for quite some time and really love your content and also I really appreciate your hard work and thank you for posting early in the day I love when I can drink my coffee with your company 😘 God bless you
I love this video idea! All I kept thinking was Jessica Braun is going to be so freaking excited that you mentioned her, she loves you! Also I know he used to be involved with the drama but I too feel like Manny is a good guy, he's definitely grown up over past year or so.
Best thing that ever happened to him was to separate himself from J⭐️. In the long term Manny will be the victor and his cosmetics line seems to be doing good. The lip glosses truly are probably the best ever.
*Emily, I wish you would also post these questions on RU-vid in the community tab. Many of your subscribers aren't on Instagram and would love to participate.*
Awesome! I am loving all the kind (drama free) RU-vid videos lately. Leighannsays just did an Instagram story and Jessica Braun did a video recommending RU-vidrs. Shouting out RU-vidrs we may not have heard of is awesome and is just good vibes all around♥️
Not only are you super talented with makeup, super sweet and drama-free, and one of the few Beauty RU-vidrs who says you're all about the makeup, and actually truly are, but you come up the most unique and original topics for your videos! I feel like most RU-vidrs do the same videos, just with different products. But you're truly so original and creative, and interactive with your viewers. I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all the thought that you put into your videos! 💚🖤💚🖤
The Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks were my first real "luxury" purchase, my income is limited so I saved and splurged on a holiday set to save some money and it is one of my best purchases to date! I really took my time, did research and looked up reviews before I went for it. They're my "Holy Grail status" staple for quick, blendable and perfect eyeshadow looks that I can do on the go! These are what I grab when I need to look professional but I'm rushing out the door, they always look sophisticated and they perform beautifully without creasing on my hooded eyes! Normally I like bold looks, but the muted tones are foolproof and easy to work with.
I think a good spin off of this video would be trying out products that RU-vidr’s have recommended that we’ve really been thinking about or wanting to buy, but just haven’t yet. It would be fun to see another person we trust try them out to see if they REALLY might be worth our coin!
I agree with you about Manny! He cracks me up. You do too Emily. You are so witty and beautiful inside and out. I truly enjoy your content. Huge huge fan. You’ve made my day. ❤️🤗😘
AHHH i've never been so early before - just want to say that I absolutely love and look forward to each and every one of your videos, you're such a breath of fresh air to watch - never change!
I knew the Milani Eye primer was yours, ever since you recommended it, I haven't bought a high end one since, this is great for keeping shadow on my oily lids and lasts all day even in hot weather. I enjoyed seeing all the products that other RU-vidrs have recommended who I watch and use, and have not been disappointed.
It is just as good as the UD primer potion. I honestly believe buying the UD is pointless. I got her recommendation so many years ago on the Milani. It is so good!
I only watch a few influencers where I get all of my recommendations. I only support those I feel are genuine and are drama free. You are definitely on my list. Thank you so much for all that you do! 💙💜💛💚💙💜💜💚
The Flower Blush Bombs are some of my favorites!!! So glowy and perfect on a lightly sunscreen'ed face in the summer! Favorite shade is Melon - the most gorgeous fresh coral!❤️
S B Me too I love Shelbey, I love watching the larger channels like our Emily, but Shelbey is the epitome of my makeup style and I just appreciate her so much!
So so many recommendations came from you! Just to mention a few: Milani primer, Almay brow styler, elf brow pencil and brushes, L’Oréal lumi shake & glow dew mist, colorriche shine lipsticks, milani everyday eyes palettes, erase paste, small expert face brush, the Balm stuff, and most recently revlon shine lip in rum raisin and maybelline shine lipstick in chocolate lust! Loving those 2 lippies so much. I’m sure there are more product recos from you that I’m forgetting. And I love them all Emily! Thank you love! 💖
Emily, when you asked if Laura Mercier was the first to come out with eyeshadow sticks, naturally it got me thinking...So, I decided to do some investigative research. 🔍 Not an easy subject to find answers on btw. 🙃 What I did find was, Laura started her company in 96 while Bobbi Brown started in 91. I chose Bobbi to research cuz Im aware that she also has shadow sticks in her line. They were first packaged and sold as creamy, shadow pots and later, "I don't know when" decided to make them in a creamy stick format. So the question still remains to which one of these brands launched the stick first? Again, there's absolutely no information on dates for these particular products. However during my search I discovered that LM' Caviar Stick eye color in Tuxedo, received Allure Best Of Beauty Award in 2016. Congrats to Laura!! 🎉🌹 I tried ladies but I guess we'll never know? It's like "which came first, the 🐔or the🥚???
I don’t know what it is but watching any Emily Noel video makes me feel so good, probably how genuine she is, she makes me feel like could probably be friends. You are awesome Emily! Thank you!
Loved hearing the dets of your bun, Emily! You always make me smile!! I've learned about so many unfamiliar brands from you. Enjoyed this very much!! Blessings, prayers, and love...MaryEllen
My grandpa passed away today. My dad called me from NC to tell me & now my sisters & I are taking trip for the funeral. I'm sad but your videos are happy and comforting. Thank you for being you & doing what you do.
I love videos like this! I don't really buy what's new, I buy what sticks around on the scene. There are so many items flooding the market every day, it's overwhelming to the consumer. I'd much rather buy on a trusted recommendation!
My Saturday morning ritual is with Emily. I love your videos so positive and full of genuine care for what you do. Keep up this amazing job you do. I totally and truly enjoy you and your content!!
Emily... it’s the shade on those Flower Beauty Blush Bombs... they have a deep rose color that you absolutely have to be careful with because that little sucker packs a PUNCH! But it still is so easily blended. The coral color is also amazing! I tried these after seeing Drew Barrymore slap on the coral color using just her fingers ... and that was all she wore! Highly recommend! They are so great! An absolute staple in my everyday routine! ❤️ the lighter shades take lots of buildup but the others, holy cow!!!
So appreciate this look at great RU-vid discoveries. You mentioned under eye mascara smudging. The mascara that absolutely never causes an under eye problem for me is Clinqiue's Bottom Lash Mascara. You can't beat the itsy bitsy brush for really getting the job done without under eye smudging. Couldn't get along without it!
I follow most of these channels because they are all about the makeup and living the best life they can with no drama from the beauty community. Probably 2/3 of the makeup I own has been recommended by you and these other channels. Keep up the good work!
You and Jessica Braun are really the only youtubers I watch that I take recommendations from. Grounded, down to earth, honest and a lot of drugstore recs which is where my budget is for the most part.
Awesome video. So nice to highlight other youtubers as I’m sure many comments and recommendations involved you. Always keeping it classy and kind!!!!! 💜💜💜
I want to thank you for showing pixi under eye corrector forever ago.I bought it when you first talked about it and i still love it to this day only thing that hides those dark circles. You were one of the first youtubers i subscribed to in 2011 and your channel still going strong with the great recommendations.I really trust what you say if i did the youtube made me buy it tag you would be the reason behind so many purchases. Thanks for being awesome!
This was such a fun video! Would you ever consider doing another like this again? You are so kind to mention other RU-vid channels. Love all your content and appreciate your positivity. Have a great day!
Literally me too!! I watch Emily’s videos when getting ready everyday and it’s so funny when all the products being raved and recommended are products I’m using
Back in 2012-2013 when you were doing Beauty Broadcast Live, I remember asking you which palette you’d recommend for a starter. You said Lorac Pro palette. I bought it back then and still love it to this day!
Shannon P Yes!! Same for me- loved Beauty Broadcast back in the day- and I also have and still LOVE my Lorac Pro Palette ( and have a back up) and have given it as gifts throughout the years 😄💕
This is why I subscribed to your channel in the beginning. This is such a GOOD video. And I mean good in the best possible way. Unique, kind, and supportive of others in the beauty community. You are one classy woman.
You were one of the first beauty youtubers I ever subscribed to! Thank you so much for being unproblematic and giving great tips and advice. You’re my favorite!
I actually fell in love with the little Milani eyeshadow palette I had heard you mention. I got the mauvey/plum one. And speaking of eyeshadow sticks, (I always called them chunky pencils) I first discovered some from Avon, at least twenty, twenty five years ago. I haven't looked at any Avon products in years, so I don't even know if they have something similar these days. I also had a couple of Smashbox ones that came in a collection for a TSV on QVC. They are more a powder pencil, but still, they're great and the two colors that were in the kit were beautiful. Simple makeup is the way I like to go, and those pencils help do that. This was a great video, thank you for it.
The best discovery, by far, I picked up from watching RU-vid is the Revlon PhotoReady Candid concealer! I think I’ve tried them all in EVERY price range and this one beats them all by a landslide! I’m 56 so that’s not said lightly! I wear 28 Oat under my eyes and it’s awesome! 🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰
Love the Becca First Light (full size). Also love the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks. And because of you, the Milani eye shadow primer. Great video idea!🌞
I’ve noticed with the flower blush drops that if you put the blush in your hand and then stipple the brush around in your hand THEN use the brush to apply it to the cheeks you get MUCH more color pay off. 👌❤️
Emily, Jessica and Taylor Wynn are my top 3 favorites who I buy recommendations from. I just bought the CT pillow talk quad because Jessica loves it and I’m so excited to use it today!
Every mascara have used for my makeup life, has smudged I do have dry skin and use a lot of moisturizing products. That is the only reason I can come up with. You look pretty.
I just bought the Rimmel stay matte on your recommendation Emily. I realized it is made my Coty and is totally the pressed version of Coty Airspun powder. Have not heard anyone mention that bit of info. Great powder!!
This is the best Saturday surprise!!! I’m sad I missed this IG story/survey but honestly, I would have picked many of the products you featured. I watch each of the creators mentioned..so AWESOME!! I use shadow sticks or cream shadow about 4-5 days per week. I know that’s probably uncommon but I’m always in such a hurry with my 6 year old twins needing something to eat and/or my 17 year old needing to be brought somewhere! LOL. I use the LM, the CoverGirl, the Mally (from you), Sephora Brand, and the CT Eyes to Mesmerize. And since you mentioned the RT Instapop brushes, I use them with these cream products. Thank you so much for this video. It really made my dark, dreary, busy Saturday so much more enjoyable!! 🤗 💜 😉
Totally agree about Manny. With the culture of the beauty world changing, he really seems to have become a better person because of what happened with him. I saw him on the Kelly show and he seems so sweet.
Watching a little later in the day. Hubby’s work schedule changed so now I’m up at 1:30 am cooking breakfast and packing lunch. I don’t go back to sleep because I’m afraid I won’t go to sleep at 5pm. It’s been go,go,go all week. Finally settling down to catch up on my Emily Show! Thanks for being my go-to “Tuber” to get me through with positivity and cheer ( I know your tired with that teething Bubba😢) thanks for all you do! ❤️😍
A GREAT lip prep that's affordable is ELF's Prep & Prime stick. I'm not fond of the prime side, but the prep side is a minty, balm that is light and moisturizing. I applied it yesterday while doing my eye make eye before running errands. Still had it on when I got home 6 hours later! Wearing a mask intensifies the effectiveness of the balm! Highly recommend!
You know..... there are just SO MANY really good products that have stood the test of time but for me, it’s more like staple BRANDS - like ELF, Maybelline, W&W, & ColourPop. These are a few of my all time favorite brands (& not simply bcz of the drugstore prices either, for me, these brands just happen to be inexpensive. I reach for Elf & Maybelline more than any other brands ever.
I was on-board with the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Boost & Set from Emily Noel but as soon as I saw you mention the Almay Brow Styler I was all over it! I still like the L'Oreal but the Almay is such a great product and a better value 👌
I love this video. And you are such a refreshing youtuber. I ONLY watch non problematic beautytubers. Love you emily. Hope you and your family are well.
I want to use cream shadow and shadow stick more, but I find a lack of tutorials for them on RU-vid and I just don’t feel like I’m doing it right. So far, just your demonstration has been so clear and easy to follow. I think those angled brushes might be the ticket! Thank you!
*Shelby Wilson recommends the Bodyography Glitter Pigments (so beautiful!! Shades - Stratus, Bubbly, Off The Hook, Halo) Jessica Braun- Colourpop Going Coconuts palette, Samantha Ravndahl - Becca Undereye BrighteningCorrector, RawBeautyKristi- PUR Luv Your Selfie 4 in 1 foundation and concealer, Arna Alayne - Nabla Single shadows in shades 'Water Dream, Mystic, Capcise, Glasswork, Alchemy, Pegasus', Julia Adams MUA - The Kosås Sun Show Bronzer, Allie Glines - Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighter in 'Ozone,' Jamie Paige Beauty - Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, Zabrena- Ardell Wanna Get Lucky Eyeliners, Tati - Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders in 'Diffused Light, Ethereal Light and Incandescent Strobe Light.' Finally, Emily Noel - Found Beauty Baked Illuminating Blushes. Also, did you know they have a eyebrow highlighter duo (just like your Anastasia one??).*
Hi Emily, Your eye look in this video is So Beautiful 😍 I am a long term subscriber of yours and I live in Australia 🇦🇺 where some make up items you use are not available in stores here ... I went on holiday to Canada 🇨🇦 earlier this year (just before COVID-19 hit the fan) 😫 I was so excited to pick up a few things you had recommended 1. Milani eyeshadow primer 2. L’Oréal colour riche shine in Varnished Rosewood (can’t get this shade in Oz) 3 was something I heard a few YT’s recommend - Essence Pure Nude highlighter. Love all these items! This was an awesome video 🙌🏽🤩
I was just reminded that your channel introduced me to Becca's Liquid Highlighter mini set. I forgot how much I enjoyed those highlighters. Brings back so many wonderful makeup memories 😊
