Your First Show of Shows? Tips & Secrets For The New Guy!  

Very informative and you're completely right : "In order to get respect, first show respect yourself". 🙂 And does anybody know how big this show is in comparison to one of the biggest shows in Europe, namely Ciney in Belgium? I would be interesting to compare them.

The last SOS I went to in 2017 was littered with fakes, you really have to be careful. Every dealer has them regardless of how nice they are and their reputation.

If you see it,if you like it,if you feel you cant live without it...buy it,dont put it down,walk way thinking it will still be there when you come back...someone else will probably be looking for the same item.

As a new guy, the biggest thing I'm concerned about is people selling fakes. I can't recognize 75% of fake items, how do you learn this stuff before you end up paying for it?

Be very aware of what is being reproduced in China for the reenactor market. You will see it being sold from half the dealers there as original.

How do i buy when in out of state? Lets say a long gun?
