Your neat little 5 yr. Celebration video had my phone going crazy. It wanted to bring the assistant right out to help every time it heard hey Google from the video. Congratulations on 5 interrupting years!!!
My Google home was popping on and off the whole video. It was like playing Russian roulette with a Chromecast and a home. Each time the light started rotating I thought to myself this "one's the one thats going to set her off" but alas the barrel was empty and so to my heart; for I wouldn't have minded hearing her voice again even if it wasn't I she beckoned upon. The treasure that is her voice would have made penance 10 fold. Truthfully I would play a galleons worth of Russian roulette if it meant to that I had afforded a mere syllable from that most mechanical heart known simply as "the Assistant".
This is the only assistant all these companies should be using, not trying to create their own half-baked fairly useless assistants and putting them in TVs, fridges and washing machines.
Half way in I realized my google home wasn’t responding like it always does when I watch these. Good on ya google (: it’s like you finally know the struggle
If you're following CES right now, Lenovo already showed off it's version of the Google home with a display and the smaller version will be priced at $199, while the larger will be $249 I believe.
Amazing :D I'm exited to see this working :) (that moment, when u write a YT comment, are german, forgot one English word, and just ask Google Assistant, so you don't have to leave YT, and write a new comment 👌)
Is it just me, or does this design remind you of the Nintendo Switch? I mean, skip to 1:53 and that animation just reminds me of the "snap" animation for the Switch.
A docked smartphone or tablet already provides much of the same functionality. The only thing that might be missing is integration with your house's CCTV suite (which, if true, is easy to workaround). Looks interesting as a proof of concept, though.
Rachel: Hey Google, call dad. Dad: Hey Rachel! Rachel: Hey Dad, when's the party? Dad: It's at 7:00 PM tomorrow. Rachel: OK, talk to you later! Hey Google, hang up. Google: Should I mark that on your calendar? Rachel:
