Short-term vacation rentals (Airbnbs) are not allowed on Salt Spring - they were not allowed on the island even before new legislation was announced to restrict short-term vacation rentals BC-wide (coming into effect this May). However, there are Bed & Breakfast businesses, and some fantastic micro-hotel options. :) We've personally stayed at Mariner's Loft and loved it - they have seven two-bed and three-bed condos, excellent for those who love having a full kitchen during their stay!
