Wow. Very well said. For me this hit home more than anything. I’ve been playing since the game started. And here I am today, with my 2year old son, still playing but I have an entire kitchen table engulfed in cards. Some bulk, some collection and others just deck cores. Everytime I walk by it, I swear I’m going to get it organized and filter thru the stuff I want, and liquidate the rest. More of a nightmare than anything. Thanks for the words of wisdom. For years you’ve been my favorite content creator, because of segments like this. It’s not forced or anything, just sitting me down and telling me how it is. That level of experience and understanding, for me is far more valuable than all of these new aged market watch channels. So from the bottom of my heart, just want to say thank you. Keep doing what you’re doing and stay blessed
hey thanks for the kind words. However, I wouldnt discount the value of the market watch channels. They absolutely help me to liquidate my "stuff." So many cards that I believed had no value like snake rain months ago, i was able to sell for a few dollars...and I'm talking about 20 or 30 of them JUST SITTING IN A DAMN BOX.
This hit a lot harder then I expected it to. like. I just realized I have some first ed ulti veilers that I just havent touched. why? and I dont even bring them with me because Im afraid of them getting stolen. Those have to go. and well. a lot of other things that arent even expensive. theyre just not used. if I want them back, I can get them back. But I wont even remember which things I got rid of I bet.
Its really tough to drop those cards cuz of how good it feels to flex...but let's be honest. When you are paying your rent, carnote, childcare, waiting in line to purchase groceries...does the rarity of that card matter? Now if you decide it is part of your collection then that is one thing and that point you need to decide what you are going to keep as collection pieces...everything else is holding you back and is a potential source of anxiety
Very well said. Alot of people that have been playing a while have probably hit this critical mass of being able to sell stuff they own and paperclip their way to never spending new money again. Never forget the real flexes
When you have kids, your needs no longer come first. Your kids needs comes before yours and so many people fail to understand that and that's why society is so messed up.
LOL! Yeah that would be really cool to take a look at peoples collections. Also, we could help each other figure what to get rid of and where to offload it at
