When you said that you also close your book to prepare yourself to keep reading I got really excited like “I’m not the only one!!” I was reading that scene in flashback right before dinner and finished right as I had to go it, so internally I was just screaming trying to get back to the book asap 😂😂 this content is super entertains and gave me a gifs laugh! 4:42 im late to this vid but i distinctly remember sophie thinking that she might've heard calla say "pancakes" when she said 'panakes.' so i presumed that the pronunciation for panakes would be similar to pancakes.

8:01 Omg I had the same thing happen to me! This was 5 years ago. It was “The Land of Stories” and I was going through security when my bag got flagged. The TSA guy took out my book and started swabbing it page by page, and this was a 350 page book! I was tired, hungry, worried that we’d miss our flight, and fed up with TSA so so I, in all my 5th grade wisdom said “What kind of kid would put a bomb in a book?” And everyone just went silent, so silent you couldn’t hear a pin drop. The TSA guy was looking at me like I was a criminal, and mom was freaking out. Thank god I didn’t get thrown in jail. (for context on why I hate TSA so much is because they separated me and my mom when I was 9 and they took her to another room to be patted down and left me alone with a creepy guy. Not good times.)

I used to pronounce Sencen as 'Sen-ken' until I read the Unlocked book where it was mentioned it's actually 'Sense-in'. TBH tho, I'm still gonna pronounce Sencen like I did before just before I like it a bit better 😅

On the cover of Everblaze, I thought it was Dex instead of Fitz because I didn’t t realize what scene it was from… I also thought that it was Keene on the cover of book one for a while until I realized that the characters were on the lamp in Paris.

thanks for the suggestion! happy pride!! we do rip it or ship it videos about every month or so which feature lgbt ships but I think it would be hard to make a whole video on solely queer ships unfortunately

@KOTLC Fanbase Have you been to the KOTLC wiki? If you look on there and Ao3, you’ll find a lot of interesting queer ships including but not limited to fans that ship Sophiana, Marellinh, Keefitz, Keefex, Fedex, Kam, Gispera, and the like? I think one could definitely make a video solely on queer ships, which characters you think are/could be queer, and whether you think any character could canonically be gay or trans and why Shannon may or may not do that? I think she should but I highly doubt she will, but the fandom’s been at least trying to make up for it.

For tiergon I do believe that we need to here more of him. This is not because I like or dislike him. There was hinted information about him when Mr. Forkle revealed his twin. Sofie freaked out and asked if everyone had secrets. Tiergon hesitated and basically said well... I don't have a secret twin. Sofie accepted the answer but I do think tiergons reaction is very telling meaning I think he will become an important character soon. He is important now but there is a lot we don't know about him. Same goes for all of the other black swan leaders, except for forkle who at this point I am done hearing about.

when i read the part when fitz and sophie almost kissed, I was like, NONONONONOOOOO PLEASE NO!! Then I almost threw my book to my bedroom door, but instead i dropped it, bc i was reading sideways on my bed (No idea why i was bracing myself fr cringe fitzphie i guess) and it wasn't the side where there was a wall, and uh... I dropped it, as i said earlier, and I then i looked for the chapter and then when i read the rest literaly groaning and squirming until silveny saved the day! I was like, YESSSSSS!! I was so happy, i almost dropped the book AGAIN! I literaly jumped up from my bed! I imagined in silvenys point of view she was thinking: Omg nooo Keefe has to have his first kiss! and with sophie! HEY BABIES TIME TO COME OUTTT!!! Lol!

Don’t hate me for this one… but Keefe is overrated. I don’t hate him, but he’s not one of my favorites. Idk how relationships work, but I don’t think he should’ve been trying to get with Sophie while Fitz was with her. I mean, he and Fitz were best friends and I don’t think that during the time Sophie and Fitz were “dating,” he should’ve been spending more time with Sophie than Fitz was himself. Idk, but that seems messed up to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ (Don’t hate me, just my opinion)

Hah! Joey I do the same thing😂 I cringe so hard sometimes and it could take me around 5, 10 or even up to an hour to open the book back up, considering how bad the scene is. Generally it’s around 2 minutes but I have to ready myself in my mind to just to continue reading it. I do it so much it’s now a habit.🥲
