👊Really appreciate ya watching! Hope you'll stick around for the offseason. Just because we're not in the lawns as much doesn't mean we still can't talk shop. Like this comment if you've already completed all the tasks in this video as well.
Afternoon, been watching you since 2020 when I first bought my first home. My grass is amazing because of you, and I want to say thank you because of that. Keep up the amazing work brother, I don’t watch any other RU-vid channels but yours especially those that always wanted to sell us the consumer products from their companies haha. Have an amazing Sunday brother.
What I like about your page bro is you so authentic to where I have never seen you use nothing but what you have bought. I really appreciate authentic people who really care about the people and do it for the people and not for the hype.
Really appreciate that feedback and support man! Some folks do this RU-vid thing for business reasons, I do it to show that I'm just a regular guy doin' his own lawn thing. Thanks for being part of it!
Solid advice as always! I learned the hard way with a busted frozen rain gauge a few seasons back. I need to dump that fuel out of my trimmer into my backpack blower that's a great idea. About to be full on leaf season for the next month or so. Oddly I enjoy the leaf cleanup for some reason.
Just winterized my mower and above ground sprinkler system today in Little Rock! Still need to put down my pre-emergent and thanks for the reminder to bring my rain gauge! Enjoy the off season!
Hiya Travis!!…I not see one leaf on that yard brother!😳..my leaf war just starting 🍁and the constant southerly flow from the neighbors (who do nothing)is never ending!🤷🏻♂️…pray for me brother!!☮️🏈🏌🏻👑
Bummer man. I'll be thinking bout ya. Mine has some leaves now. The 40 mph gusts today really threw them all over the place. Great to hear from ya man. Thanks for watching.
Those last freezes shut mine plum down too. I can say from your vids mine is 90-100 weed free as we close this year. Can’t wait till next. Don’t get blown away. Hopefully tomorrow we can both pre..
Happened fast didn't it. That's awesome man. Nice job this season. Appreciate ya being a big part of the channel for it. Yup, it's pretty swift out there. Don't fall over and good luck on that pre-em.
I haven’t done em in years. Next spring, I’ll prolly take my stuff to some friends of mine that own a shop that does servicing. Gives me a reason to go see them and support a local business.
You and me both do the exact same method for draining the hoses.. run them down the slope of the driveway! Great video Travis I still have a little bit of season left up here in Illinois, upper 70's the next 3 days so I'll enjoy it before the freezing temps return
Brown lawn is still better than no lawn. Been there done that lol. No pre - em for me this year with the sod only being 4 months old. Solid advise as always brother.
Haha. You got that right. Thanks buddy. Good call. I’m sure yours still has a good deal of root development time this season. Appreciate ya as always bro.
I was hoping it'd be marked down a bit this late in the year. They had a bunch of it at my Lowe's. It was just under $15. I always enjoy the trip to the store. Got to see the Christmas stuff out already. Haha, tis the season (almost). Thanks buddy.
I threw down some milorganite early September, right before overseeding. The tall fescue started to fill in my old tired looking lawn. Looks great! I'm giving it a few more days before I mow it and say sayonara for the season. I'll be emptying the mower and weeder and run them dry.
I had new sod this past year, so I had some trouble with crab grass coming up in the bermuda. When the bermuda goes dormant, the dead crab grass stands out pretty well (dark brown against the light straw color). Would you go around and pull up all the crab crass and weeds? It's something I was reluctant to do during the season.
I’d leave it alone. I’ve had it happen pretty bad before at my old house. I’ve got a little in my new lawn that’s visible. It’s acting as ground cover for now. You dont wanna open that space up for other weed seeds to find a home. It’s not hurting anything. You’ll prevent the crabgrass from coming back with your spring pre emergent. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Hmmm, not sure why. They had a boat load of it at my local Lowe's. Wonder why it's not there. Sorry you can't find it. That sucks, but I'm sure Lesco or something similar at Lowe's would work just fine. Thanks so much for watching!
