Great point about the strong story. I've noticed this in my short form content for my farm. If I'm not providing some useful information or weaving a really engaging story people just don't care and no amount of flashy editing or beautiful shots can help.
Man, the production quality of this video is off the charts! I can only imagine how much time, effort and planning went into making this awesome video! You are obviously super talented and hardworking and I would love to see more content from you! Instant subscription!
I'm so happy I found this channel about filmmaking, looks interesting, gonna spend my weekend enjoy watching all the videos here. thanks for this great content.
@@davidsfilmmaking That’s awesome! I’m so glad the videos can help. Just subscribed, I’m looking forward to your next video man, keep up the great work!
Brosky. So many things I wanna say that are racing through my mind. Let's see if my ADD will let me get them out lol. Firstly, shoutout to you for your vids man. Genuinely such a cool find. Your use of things like aspect ratios, foreground elements and other minor details accumulate to make something really beautiful. Just subbedd. Also, sent Andrew Paul that video you did with him in it. He may not have commented but he was encouraged. I'm also always excited when I come across talented christians🙌🏽. I believe with my whole chest that it pouring yourself into art, even if Christ isn't the topic, brings him so much glory. Lastly, I need to know - how on earth are you getting companies like Zhiyun and Motion VFX to send you things? That's nuts considering your audience is still in its early stages. Tried sending this on IG but it blocked me so figured here could work too. Anyway, peace and love.
Hey man, thanks for the support! This comment truly means a lot. As for brands collaborating, I just try to make the best videos possible and brands always reach out. No secret recipe for me.😂 but God bless, thank you for the support.
Yea basically place your camera on the shadow side of your subject. That the shadows on the face are the part closest to the camera. Or film with back light. It makes the image look more 3d. Hope that helps
Yea that’s not an issue, try to get good with what you have. There are plenty videos on smart phone filmmaking that you can check out. Thanks for the support.
great video but i do have some constructive criticism that, in my opinion could make your videos even better. First, you did an excellent job on the editing and I only have great things to say about it! The thing that I think you should work on is your lighting, although it is alright it sometimes feel very sourcy and artificial. If i were you, I'd try to bounce my lights more so that it feels more natural. You could also try adding more practical lights in your shots to justify your lighting and add dept in your scenes. For example, at 1:38, instead of blasting you light directly on you, you could have bounced it on a wall or a white sheet that is out of frame which would delete the vignetting of the light. It also would have reduced the harsh shadows coming from the plants. You then could have added a lamp next to you to justify that light. Also, add haze, fog machines are really cheap on amazon and they do wonders. Hope this helps, I hope you don't take it personnally because I also think I could learn a lot from you about editing. Great video, keep it up!
Great video, excellent content and very down to earth, much appreciated! Just wanted to say that, and also that God loves you and everyone else who reads this! He sent His Son Jesus to die and rise for us, so that we could be forgiven of our sins and receive eternal life. The Bible teaches us that we're all sinners who deserve hell as punishment, because we've broken God's laws (the Ten Commandments). BUT, if we repent of our sins and surrender our lives to the risen Jesus we will be saved and forever forgiven!
