My favorite iPhones were my 4s, 6 plus, 8 plus and Xr. Now I have the 14 plus and it’s feeling sucks, gets mad hot and the pictures look super processed 😒 wish I could go back
@@zion3890 the s8 certainly looks old. 1 camera, while even $150 phones like samsungs a series phones have 2-3 lenses, the display's bezels are pretty big, and also the inclusion of a headphone jack
I honestly think it's more accurate to say the "older iPhones ran so the newer ones could walk". Developments have slowed down tremendously since the early days, so much that any flagship iPhone released in the past 5 years will give you almost exactly the same experience. Really, Apple devices as a whole have been fast and stable since the A10-A11 chips, which still perform very similarly in daily tasks to the newest chips.

besides losing the headphone jack and becoming water tight the iphone 7 also introduced OIS (or IBIS?) -image stabilization to its camera meaning it could record its videos much smoother and allowed for longer exposure times for photos
Still using an iPhone 12, haven’t upgraded since. And because some prepaid services are still selling that model, Apple will likely support it until maybe iOS 20.
This is me! I keep my Pixle 6 pro because the battery life is insane!! I still have an iPhone 12 Pro for other stuff. Great combo to have in my humble opinion.
Hey I’m using an iPhone X and I’m good ngl, it’s fast, has FaceID, nice screen, telephoto lens, good battery, and looks better than the new stove camera iPhones hahah Also 3D Touch is so much fun, feels like a downgrade upgrading :/
The iPhone X should have received at least another year of iOS updates because it's such a capable device, i know it's old in tech years but it still works amazingly well with a good camera and speakers.
Still using my iPhone 7 Plus as the phone I use at my desk. Has no distracting apps installed, just necessities. My main phone is the iPhone 12 Pro Max, don't think I'll be going for the 16 this year, as Apple's keeping all the AI features out when used in the EU.
i settled on a 13 pro after hoping around the block, even ownining a few android phones (samsung is great, google not so much imo). the 13 pro checks all of my boxes. its the perfect size, battery is great, has pro motion, and the cameras are still excellent. all at an affordable (for me) price. i didnt like eSIM only (because I changed phones a lot) and I felt like they didnt do enough with the dynamic island for it to take up an awkward space with the 14/15. the 16 reveal made me realize that every new phone doesnt have to be for me. I have everything I need in this 13.

Na cause I've been talking about this a lot, tech reviewers say "I phones are now type c" or whatever and I'm like no, only the rich people who buy a new phone evey year get all these "standard" features. I use Samsung and it's the same thing there's the idea of a "standard that all phones have" and im like only ones that have been out within the past 3 years. That's not most phones
Rotten don’t worry for the best part of my life I lived on a small house up a mountain and the only electronic I had was also an iPod touch. We had no internet at the time so I had to go to a cafe to download songs and games. Also I remember getting Minecraft for the first time on it.

Hmm well from what I know it must’ve been made 3-4 years ago, but I think I would call a phone old bye age, and not how fast models are being made. Let’s say you have an iphone 15, but a new series of iphones release in 2 years, (16, 17) and those two iphones released in the same month. It doesn’t mean your device is old, it means your device doesn’t have the highest software. I hope that kinda clears it up!
4:41 the iPhone 11 brought another camera to the system, the iPhone 12 had flat edges on the side, the iPhone 13 had a smaller notch, the iPhone 14 lineup gave a new model called plus (and the pro and pro max had a dynamic island), the 15 and 15 plus got the dynamic island, and, the 15 pro and pro max got an action button
