I get the impression that you have simply gone to read the bits he mentions in order to reinforce his/your preconception rather than with any aim of looking at it rationally, or for truth. Because frankly, just reading it to confirm your biases is not "serious" at all.

Do you have any proof for billions or years? Were you there at creation to validate that it was created 4.5 billion years ago? Jason is arrogant? My beliefs and what I feel in my heart to be the truth without a doubt in my thought or feelings (honestly the same I can ever remember back to my earliest feelings and thoughts) , never having to read anything or to be taught by someone, did not then control or be the guidelines or whatever that I hVe to follow. No, for me it's been freeing and peaceful and a blessing. To know that I'm not in control or that I can control aspects of my life or that I have to act a certain way or I will one day end up going somewhere that sounds horrible and it's all my choice. No I've pretty much always felt as if Jesus christ, God, existed and created me and all else, that he made it possible for me to be saved and spend eternity with him if I am indeed a child of his. If I'm not than I won't be with him but it's nothing that I could do or couldn't that decided that . Its all God and I don't understand everything nor do I need to but I do know that I m in no position to question why because I won't understand the answer either more than likely
Who really cares how old the earth is. Does it matter to us today how old the earth is? Not that I know of. But just for sake of knowing the truth because it's good to know what the truth is , when it's backed by scientific evidence, just to be able to figure out other relative topics. This same guy in one of his lectures discusses how the earth can't be anywhere close to billions of yrs old because, and I'm not for certain I'm saying this correctly. I mean the way he explained it , scientifically. As a matter of fact I'm not even going to try until I have it for sure correct

How can they say things are millions or more years old when there is certain carbons found inside them that testify to the fact that it can't be anywhere close to testify age since c-14, carbon 14, has a half life of 5700 yrs. Like he said after this it becomes nitrogen
He's teaching from the Bible. He has a deeper more scientific understanding of the facts that are in the Bible but nonetheless he is just quoting what God wrote to his children, the good news. That's not arrogant. That's preaching the gospel. Simply put. And he is obviously very intelligent. But the one who created jason is infinitely more intelligent than even he is. Trevor, are you one of those people that need a biologist to explain what a woman is? My brother is a qualified Auto Electrician. Apart from fixing my car, he tiled my two bathrooms and his own house, takes awesome photographs and is proficient at woodwork. All quality, self taught, workmanship. I'm sure it takes a good bit of comprehension and study to become an Astrophysicist, so I have no doubt that Jason is not a fool. Also he has confidence in the Bible and in God, so that cements my good opinion of him even more so. These modern days of the 21st century are mentioned, in prophesy, multiple times throughout the Bible, (old and new testament), in amazing accuracy. Further validating the truth of Creation, over the fairy tale of evolution.
