Hey Everyone!

Hi Sarah! I love the new lighting and the softer voice was very appropriate for the subject matter. 🙂 It’s very ASMR. Skin scents are my favorite as I am a healthcare worker and am technically not supposed to wear scents to work. Perfume is one of the mental health boosters that I allow myself to indulge in for my long shifts. Thank you for the lovely recommendations.

Hi Sarah! Great video! When I am not wearing gourmand vanilla, I am always looking for a good skin scent! You have definitely got me curious about La Mia Perla, the Justin Bieber, the Zara’s and the Alan in.I love fragrances that aren’t “perfume”. I will have to look into those for sure!

I really enjoyed your talking softly in this video and the softer lighting. It is very soothing. Maybe think about it for your fragrance videos? I used to wear Pure Grace on a regular basis, then got tired of it; but I got more compliments on that than any other fragrance I have worn before or since. I have an unopened bottle of it, but am working on some of my more winter scents now.I ordered the Lake & Sky discovery kit, the 11 11 oil and a sample of the new scent Midnight 07, which Michele1218 was raving about! Also ordered the discovery kit from Untamed. Always enjoy watching your content!

I love the plum shades on you! The lighting is good, it has a softer tone, than your previous lighting. Great fragrances, sometimes I just want something easy, and nothing that will make a statement, and these all sound perfect. One that comes to mind , for me is Gallivant Bukhara, and Skin by Clean fragrances. I used to wear the same two or three fragrances all the time, which were my signatures, but like you , I just cant do that anymore, that ship has sailed!!!!

I really liked Pure DKNY, my bottle didn't have the drop vanilla name though, but it didn't smell clean enough for me. I found the large bottles of that one and the verbena one for like 20 bucks each. I did recently sell my bottle but I still have the verbena one. The scent though I really liked. I also have "Still" and that's one of my most worn scents I think because its super versatile. I do get the tea note but also the rose note as well. I love that one in the summer because it projects a bit more but its still fresh and calming. That Lanvin one sounds nice and I've always looked at lanvin scents but haven't tested many except I have Lanvin "ME". Great video, you've given me some ideas for versatile everyday scents!!

I can’t wait to get 11 11 as I just ordered it. I absolutely love both Amazing Grace and Pure Grace. They are definitely signature scents. I work in healthcare and wear them to work and have received compliments but never have been told I was offending anyone. 💕

Great subject. My fave is the Fresh Cream from Philosophy. And Serge Lutens( Clair de musc I think). JLo Still is a very pretty one. I havent tried kuumba yet but a lady I know wears a nice Egyptian musk. This lighting looks very nice. Idk if it's marketed as a skin scent but Dylan Blue by Versace is very light and non offensive.

I am wearing Lacoste pour femme today, and I would totally put it in this category! It’s along the same lines as Glossier You I would say. And I have Lacoste pour femme legere, which would be perfect for summer because it open with a citrus note, then dries down to the same powdery cozy scent as pour femme 🤍

I like the lighting! I love La Mia Perla by La Perla and the bottle is stunning too. Plus it was like $15 or something inexpensive like that which cannot be beat. I wear fragrances to bed every night too. My favorite lately has been Vicky Tiel Femme Absolue. Sooo pretty and also only $15.

This is one of my very favorite categories of perfume so I really enjoyed this. I don’t have much experience with indie perfume, but I’ve been sent some Hexennacht oils by some generous fragheads and when I first smelled 11:11, I immediately thought of a couple of their scents. Their white amber “layering accord” (called Ambre Blanc) smells pretty much exactly like the white amber accord in 11:11 to me. Loup Garou, which is one of my two favorites of theirs (that I’ve tried), fits in to this category perfectly and I think you would love it. The notes are silver amber, fur, and lunar musk and, to me, it smells like it could be a sweeter relative to 11:11. It’s such a beautiful, snuggly “your skin but better” fragrance. My other fav fragrance from Hexennacht, Bisou, could fit in this category too (though it’s not similar to 11:11). The notes are “smeared lipstick and warm, flushed skin, vanilla, orris root, violet, sugar, cetalox, skin musk, and safraleine”. Ugh it’s so good. I’ve just tried the perfume oils, but I want to try both of them in the spray/extrait and body oil forms. I am positively addicted to La Mia Perla. Some other musky scents in the same vein that I absolutely love are Pierre Guillaume Le Musc & La Peau and Essential Parfums The Musc. If I want a squeaky clean soapy musk, I’ll reach for Serge Lutens Clair de Musc. The Egyptian Musk from Kuumba Made is stunning and very fresh and clean. Some musky/orris iris frags that fit here are Glossier You, Parfums de Marly Athalia, and Xerjoff Apollonia. (I don’t own bottles of all these niche scents lol. I am all about decants.) Love this new, warm lighting btw.

I’ve tried a couple from your list since this video came out. I blind bought Jennifer Lopez Still which is really nice. It’s not a huge love for me, though I have found myself reaching for it a lot in the summer. Zara MSK 004/NTL, on the other hand, was a huge love at first sniff for me. I got a decant from someone in one of my Facebook fragrance groups and bought a bottle within a week. Apparently it’s discontinued, which is such a bummer. Another recent love that would fit on this list is Prada Infusion d’Amande. I am obsessed 😍.

I’d recommend Ariana Grande REM for this too! I often wear it to bed because it dries down to a very comforting lavender/linen skin scent, I don’t think anyone would assume it’s a perfume if they even noticed the scent. Plus the bottle is so pretty

Hi Sarah, I like both types of lighting, but I think both could be helped by being softly diffused a bit, especially with the whiter light you have been using. I like this new lighting for cold weather, and the other for warm weather. Maybe try a combination of the two if you have the set-up for it. I'm not a my skin or better person because I am a light smoker, so I don't wear fragrances to work, only on my own time. So, I only wear what I am in the mood for, and they are generally a little heavier, but I hope inoffensive, because I'm pretty finicky, and being a smoker, I'm never going to smell fresh and clean all day. Your video uploads always seem to be a pleasant little surprise treat, and this one is no exception. I feel like I am whisper typing... Lol! Thanks so much Sarah! Lisa

Hi Lisa! I definitely lean towards heavier scents too. I need to pull these ones into my rotations more though. Thankfully people request videos like this which forces me to pull my lighter scents out. I hope you have had a wonderful holiday season and that 2022 is an amazing year for you! 🥰❤️🙏🏻

My favourite "no fragrance" fragrances are from the Prada Infusions line. I have D'Iris and D'Amande. I have a slight preference for the almond, but both are wonderful. They stay very close to the skin but last all day.

Hi Sarah I wear Musk by Alyssa Ashley it’s beautiful and wears close to my skin if I don’t completely overspray. I purchased at a Renaissance Festival a little oil mixture of frankincense and myrrh and it does wear close to my skin. I have a rollerball of Jennifer Aniston perfume I agree it’s close to the skin it’s pretty I agree it has a vintage vibe That’s why I wish it lasted longer and stronger

Hi there! I adore Kilian Princess. It’s such a beautiful fragrance. I really like Kilian overall as well. I think the only fragrance I have ever disliked from the house has been Good Girl Gone Bad. Other than that they have all been really beautiful. 🥰❤️🙏🏻
