They established Apromase and left some of their family there . Then went on to establish Obo . Obo has two nephew towns in Asante , which are Ejisu Kwaso and Apromase .. that’s the fact !
Dear brothers. The title "Omanhene" is not a Twi word or Akan title. The ancient books referred to every great ruler as a king. The word king is from the British. We do not have any Twi word for "king" either. All great ruler is called Ohene. The British called only the Asantehene as the King. Only him. Now on traditional level, since an empire used by the British, the Asantehene Osei Bonsu, Osei Yaw Akoto were Emperors but Akans do not have any word for ut. So in brief, no Akan can equate those titles to Ohene bcos if how the word it used. A king in Twi would have been Ahene mu ahene? But bcos the Europeans who created the Twi Dictionary did not care to distinguish between the words. So today if Dormaa Dikro Agyeman Badu calls himself an Omanhene how was it possible for Asantehene, whom he describes as an Omanhene make him Omanhene? Can an Omanhene create or promote you a chief to an Omanhene? It's impossible.
