Thank you from a 70 year old in Arizona. I'm a drummer and a fiddle player and decided I want to learn the guitar. I've been playing country music professionally for 55 years and needed a new challenge. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you! I started to learn the guitar and pretty much gave up, since it was so painful to learn the chords, but I had played the cello for many years. This series gives me hope that I can take up the guitar again and learn. Thanks.
Excellent video & audio quality. So many youtube videos have garbled sections. I also like the way you explain things in detail and don't talk down to viewers.
Man thank you so much for the way you explain everything. I've been trying to play acoustic guitar for several years and have had to learn mostly on my own because I could only understand pieces of what people were trying to tell me. You very patiently and thoroughly explain things without assuming us watching have ever strummed an instrument. - Grasshopper
This is fantastic...I love Country music...I can play a bit of rock music and some other stuff...but really want to play country. Looking forward to this...
I came across your video today, I hope you have plenty of videos on here. I love country music and you give a great breakdown of the cords, and strumming. Great video
Awesome, glad you're putting the videos to good use! Thanks for following the lessons...been at the whole RU-vid guitar lesson thing for a while and still enjoying it. Plenty more videos on the way soon...
Maureen Putt Thanks Maureen! I have some courses I’m working on at my website that might get you headed in the right direction countryguitaronline.com/guitar-courses/ hope that helps! Have a good weekend - Devin
Thanks a lot! Awesome video. Definitely gonna practice this. My problem is that I can't mute the 6th string with my thumb without my other fingers muting all the other strings. I feel like my hand is too small or is that just a practice thing as well? I tried the other variation as well, but that seems to be even tougher haha. Any advice there? Thanks. :)
I know G major D major C major D minor Gsus 4 Dsus 4 F# F major A major A minor Cadd9 Eminor E major A blues Country guitar In one year all these chord and blues… good luck guys 🥰😋🤪😉
+Brandon Trim Thanks! It's kind of a variation of My Church ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ouWQ25O-Mcg.html really like the melody of that song
I'd recommend watching the whole lesson ;) I think you'll see that I tell you and it's pretty straight forward, but let me know if you need help with a certain part after watching it. Thanks for checking out my lessons!
Tune it to standard tuning: E - A - D - G - B - E (the first E there is the low E string which is the thickest string) tons of videos and resources out there for free showing you how to tune. Good luck with it!
