I usually add my bass to +18 on routenote, then speed up 1.25 on the pitch. This is correct, but the bass program doesn't do a whole lot of adding subwoofer type of bass.

How about chain position when using VUMT, UAD Putnam Mic collection and Waves Dereverb and Vocal Rider? I assume xpitch is placed after these?

Good question! VUMT isn't processing audio, it's just meters, correct? If so it wouldn't matter if it's before or after your tuning plugin. Mic Models are generally subtle filter / saturation models, which shouldn't have any effect one way or the other on pitch correction, so can also go before. Same with a vocal ride plugin - pitch correctors aren't affect by this. The one to be careful with would be any type of De-reverb plugin, only use this before pitch correction if the track has a really really extreme reverb (like a 3.5s concert hall) - otherwise, if it's just a natural small room reverb, it might be safer to put it after pitch correction, as very short and subtle room reverbs shouldn't negatively affect pitch correctors.

@@nuroaudio thx for responding, much appreciated. Thing is I need the UAD Sphere Mic Collection first in the chain because how the stereo set up works. But the mics are emulations, ideally fed with about -18dbfs signal, hence placement of VUMT before that. Waves Dereverb is not a reverb but takes away room in order to create a dry signal, in a way it’s the opposite of a reverb. But as I understand it, pitch can be pitched after this in the chain, correct?
