In 1955 Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar returned from a year-long hiatus with a new star and a new format. Bob Bailey took over as Dollar and producer Jack Johnstone moved it to five fifteen-minute episodes a week format. This is probably the best-known and loved incarnation of the show.
We have edited these five-part episodes to feel like a single episode. Videos of beautiful scenery have been added for a unique OTR experience.

Your presentation along with the old scenes of Hartford are totally amazing! My Dad grew up in the old Hartford described here and I grew up in a suburb quite close and attended many events and even spent time in school there. The architecture really brings me back to my childhood ( 40vyears or so late but the structure and heartbeat of the city is encapsulated in these episodes and incredible background!!! And the cars (!) in the background are worth staying awake for! I do enjoy the fire so I can look away from the screen though!) A riveting combo! Thoroughly enjoyable, especially these early episodes! Thank you for the work you put in for our countless hours of entertainment, contemplation and even some great sleep trying to solve a puzzle or two! Owe you many thanks on many levels! You also have superb taste! Wonder if you are a fan of big band or swing ( maybe even blues!?!?) to boot! No offense!One can't expect perfection in life! I was born in wrong decade, I believe! LoL! Kind Regards! Thx again for the fun in these crazy dayz!! Stay Safe!♡

The lack of his "glow-in-the-dark tie" would have proven the opposite in fact-that the intruder was, indeed, NOT her father, thus, strengthening the girl's case. Just couldn't leave the ending to the imagination. Thank God for the CBSRMT.
@HearthandHomeEntertainment
@HearthandHomeEntertainment 2 года назад
I think in the show they said she removed the tie and hid it. The salesman told Dollar that the father was wearing the tie when he left the station. Funny that the agent didn't mention a glow in the dark tie, but we needed 4 more episodes!😅
@michaelallport5816
@michaelallport5816 2 года назад
@@HearthandHomeEntertainment I'll check again. Yet, I think Dollar showed her the tie after receiving it from the man who met her father at the train station. The father had given it to him as a gift. Her dad then returned home w/o the tie when she shot him. She had already destroyed the other 2 ties that she had given her father.
@HearthandHomeEntertainment
@HearthandHomeEntertainment 2 года назад
@@michaelallport5816 Ah, the plot thickens!😃 What does everyone think? Did this show have a good ending or was it a quick wrap-up with a couple of plot holes? Also, would you wear a glow-in-the-dark tie?

The Bennet Matter is another script used more than once. The best of them, like the other in this series. Toby Collier was the kid in the Jeff Regan version. Who did the other? Not Craig I think. Spade maybe? Love your editing anyway. I stopped listening to these because of the filler you remove. Thank You so much.

I cannot get into the 1/2 shows. They seem rushed. The longer shows are chock full of little tidbits. “She looked me over like a car she didn’t want to buy.” 😂 Bob Bailey infused so much personality & character traits into JD. He was the best.
