well with guests, especially ones they are further form personality wise, they have to be super concious about time schedule and asking them good questions so have to be way more serious and think about what they [unless it's a guest with similar humour/that they know better like post malone, jacksfilms etc]

ik your comment is from a year ago, but i totally agree with you. family youtubers, mommy bloggers, all the kinds of people who use their children for financial gain really irk me. their kids can't properly consent to all these things being shared, and since this age of the internet is relatively new theres hardly any laws in place to protect those children. something that really helped me understand more was stumbling upon people who's mothers used them for mommy blog content and hearing them detail how invasive and damaging it was. the parents see dollar signs and end up totally ignoring the long term negative consequences.

Atleast kid actors have prospects for the future within said career. They are building a resume for themselves. Where is someone like Ryan's toys channel going to be down the line. This year alone he made 22 million from youtube. What's gonna happen when hes a preeteen and dosent want to play with all the children's toys?

Wishful thinking. They'll still find a way to do it. There's other ways to make money on youtube without monetization. Sponsored videos for example run a few thousand dollars depending on how many subscribers the channel has. Look at 8 Passengers and Bonnie Hoellein for example. They exploit their children and film some of their most vulnerable moments, and get sponsors every week.
Honestly I wouldn't mind kids content not being on youtube, it's just a rabbit hole for exploitation of kids. I think curated kids content would be way better for youtube kids [edit: Dope colour work on shirts, can tell you're actually doing proper art style graphics on these. Same with pewdiepie, merch game going up in quality]

That's what I was thinking about, I mean on channels like Nickelodeon or Disney all of the advertisements were just toys and occasional ads for other kids shows. I dont think RU-vid is making the wrong choice by doing this it's just crazy that they are facing legal issues when large TV channels do the same thing but maybe even on a larger scale.
There's a rule that says you can't advertise your own products on your own show ex you can't advertise SpongeBob merch on a SpongeBob show in on RU-vid every RU-vidr promote their own merch
