This is such a great message! Social media was meant to be social, collaborative and we are so focused on “grind” that we loose sight of it. We are also alone when don’t have to. Especially when it’s something as fun as being creative ❤
Exactly! It’s hard to fight with some of the destructive parts of it, without doubt. But we may as well get some of the positive social impacts out of it too!
I seem to stumble on channels relatively early on in their evolution (appx 9k subs on this channel at the time of writing), which end up making it big. I think yours is one of those. There are a number of criteria which I won't go into the detail of (too much to write). All I would say, I hope you will keep true to yourself once that happens, as money and power indeed may corrupt.

Ed China had a neat trick which pissed off a lot of his viewers - he reloaded all of his earlier videos, after he had become better monetised. He used new more attention-grabbing thumbnails (goofy cartoon faces, outlined text and [exploding-head] emojis) on his old videos, and then uploaded them under the new thumbnails. Also, shorts. Make shorts of your videos. There's 2 tricks for you.

You’ll certainly benefit from publishing regularly but if it’s something you want to do then just start! I’m glad it helped in showing you that it can be done on whatever schedule you have available 😊
The general rule of thumb is to expect around $1-$2/thousand views so I'm surprised you've done so well given your low subscriber count. Do you have a say in where adverts appear in your video and/or how regular? Your channel has the potential to grow if that's what you want, but lacks direction in that it's a borderline hobby/business making it difficult for people to know what they're subscribing to. Also, you'll increasingly have to deal with strangers in public talking to you as if they know you; and you owe them your attention and automatic friendship.
That’s definitely at the lower end of money for 1000 views. Mine is maybe a bit higher because my audience is older than the average YT channel so they tend to have a bit more disposable income. Advertisers will pay more to get in front of their eyes is my guess. I’ve always struggled with getting things neat and tidy like that. I may get an allotment soon which may make it easier to be clear about what the channel is about. Nobody has approached me in public yet 😅
Yes but you already have the subs and people are interested in your journey. It’s rarely a linear path in my experience either. One minute it’s 1000, then one video does the rest all by itself! Or spring comes and gardening becomes more popular on here.
