YouTube Has A Problem - False Copyright Claims 

Tom is 100% not doing this. It's not worth his time or money. He wants reactors reacting because it's free advertising. There are haters that are trying to stop Tom's message from getting out.

If someone is swiping $$ under false pretense, Tom MacDonald would absolutely want to know. Stick with it. If it turns out to be the case, he will appreciate you for letting him know.

Rebel is a scam.. NO independent artist would hire a company like that for copyright claims. They are 100% independent and stay that way because of bs like this. Anyone making claims against a Tom or Nova video are not them and do not represent them. However, it needs to be brought to the HoGs attention as well as Toms so they can pursue action against these scam companies.

Completely understand the frustration. It devalues the amount you get from monetization because it makes you have to do more work to get it. Someone who is new to doing video content has enough on their plate figuring out how to do the vids, building an audience and determining what their audience is interested in. Then to add that jacked up knotted mess of a ball of yarn to it is just demoralizing. You would think that with all the changes in where the money was going it would cost enough to figure it out that YT would find a solution to fix the problem and save some money. Hope Tom gets back to you and the issue is resolved. I really enjoy hearing your takes on his songs as you often notice things I didn't.

Cliff Beats has been fighting this. Cliff had like 142 claims in a 24 hr period, he has alot of info on his channel. They way it sounds youtube actually owns some of these 3rd party companies, which is why they make it difficult to clear. Sorry the vultures found you.

What people DON'T know about Copyright Law and the *Fair Use Act* The "Fair Use Act" is a Defense Strategy used in Court. Not a Shield that makes a person IMMUNE. Only a Sitting Judge can say if a "Work" is in fact being or conforming to the Fair Use Act portion of the Copyright Law of the United States. Yes RU-vid is broken in this regard but RU-vid/Google will protect itself before standing up for a Content Creator. Finally ... You are right. Anyone can use items that are in the Public Domain. And yes I've heard of people like you mentioned who just use the "Strike" system as a weapon. This can be solved by going to court, but that's expensive, and the only ones that win are the lawyers. But again ... EVERYONE can use anything in the Public Domain and a judge recently said that *NO ONE OWNS AI GENERATED PICTURES* .

tom is fully independent he lets people react to his videos and you are getting flagged by frauds

Maybe put Tom’s video statement of fair use at the beginning of all of your reactions to his videos.

Sometimes you can get YT to respond on YT twitter/X especially if you can get alot of subs to also tag YT twitter/X. There are also companies that you can hire on behalf of your channel to sort of middle man for you with YT. However this can be pricey. I forget what the companies are called. I know channels who utilize these companies and it has worked for them. As far as Tom I have never heard Tom mention this Rebel creator services and Tom has always been 100% transparent. I would def message Tom and let him know.
