Thank you for positing this video. I haven't seen a better singer than Karunya in all 5 years of Indian Idol. He owns every song he sings. Its unfortunate he did not win.
Sreeram and Karunya are the only gems I have seen in Indian idol.Sreeram is really amazing in the control of his voice. Karunya was really good in his ways
Well, Javed was perplexed that Karunya sings it very differently from that of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and yet its so melodious and wonderful. I like Karunya's rendering of the song. He did not imitate Ali Khan but sang it in his own way.
Karunya is the best singer of Indian Idol since now . what he is doing I think he forgot his fun from Indian Idol 2 . why he is not appear on popular Indian channel . I'm sure all his fun want him to sing Indian songs for them .

Better not to attempt those songs that you cant sing well. listen to original song sung by Rahat Fate ali khan. This stands nowhere close to original. You have just managed to screw it up.

Ok, i got it, sorry i was confused due to two versions of this song. He is singing the original version sung by Nusrat fate ali khan. By comparing to that song then this boy has sung really well and better than original.
