I don’t think they actually did this to be honest. It could permanently damage the play button which they wouldn’t risk, and the box had tape covering the address (the same tape which was on the sides, implying he had already opened it and repackaged it with his own tape)

@@vr_lottle1 lots of restoration vids are fake, they paint over them or just get something and purposely trash it, they speed up rust and other things for the vids, so they are basically destroying them and then reviving their bueaty. theres also vids where they get rid of ticks on cats and dogs and clean fauna and barnicals off turtle shells when they actually just glued shit onto their backs and in a inhumane and torturous way, scraping it all off the shell. heck, the actual barnicals and fauna that can be found on shells can don't even harm them , in fact they can even benifit the turtle's shell, and the tick removal? they are just beads that are also glued on and are plucked off hurting the cat or dog as their fur goes with the beads and then the beads are edited to move in the vid

To be fair, even if it's made up it still makes for a more interesting story than "I put dirt on my RU-vid Play Button". It probably blurs the line a bit between what is and isn't clickbait, because it doesn't contradict what you see in the video. Think of sketch comedy videos with titles that say "I did [insert unrealistic thing]". They may not have done this really, but their video shows it happening.
