hey guys this is the original video I know that I released the wrong one the other day but this is the one that I actually intended to release..
so Thailand just like a lot of other countries has some pretty crazy laws that quite honestly if you're traveling you should really know about....
especially the ones that in your home country you most likely take for granted, but here can get you in a whole lot of trouble...
it is amazing some of the laws that the countries over here in Southeast Asia have stuff that you honestly most likely never thought about....
however you can find yourself in a heap of trouble in a hurry by doing things that never really crossed your mind as illegal.....
can you believe that leaving a Google review can get you arrested?
true story!!!
how about a kind considerate act?
who in their right mind would ever think that picking up garbage along the beach could get you deported?????
Vaping!
this one's not going to get you arrested or deported but it can cost you a s*** ton of money!
just be aware when you're traveling that there are some crazy laws that make absolutely zero sense....

Been in Thailand 4 years, the Thai people are great, they will always want to help you. There friendly as can be. The police here are great. Be polite, be respectful and you will never have any issue. You will meet and make alot of friends in this beautiful country. Great place to retire or vacation

There's probably very few places in the world by Thailand when it comes to how friendly the locals are.... Also the police can be wonderful people they can be really nice they can be kind they can be helpful... I'll tell you this much the police here on Phuket take a lot of s*** from the tourists that they shouldn't have to take but they do anyways.... It's amazing how people come here and they think that they can just talk down to the police and treat them like theybare less than......

When I lived in PR I use to walk the beach and pick up trash.. It’s relaxing.. A downer I wouldn’t be able to do so on a leisurely early morning stroll… I wonder if there’s a simple permit or something ?

Listen nobody's going to arrest you brother for picking up garbage on the beach here lots of people do it but it is actually an example of something that you can be deported for someone wanted to get you to ported because he didn't like you or something like that it's just one of those crazy laws where here you have to have a visa to volunteer.... It doesn't matter if you're getting nothing in return for your volunteering but you are technically supposed to have a visa to do any type of volunteer work... Crazy huh

I don't discuss local politics on social media. I only review places that impressed me favorably. One does need to be wary of certain local norms. Over the decades have seen numerous examples of just how serious it can get for what we consider at most a minor transgression.

Dr , I spend 6 months a year in my wife’s village in rural Thailand: I help her with machine And truck maintenance; she is a rice farmer , I tell her about my concerns RE this , she says don’t worry : no one in the village knows the visa rules?

wow doc. As for the vaping thing i know someone in Singapore who has been arrested in a nighclub for vaping. I am surprised about the volounterring thing as i know there are many people who volunteteer in Thailand up to month with no visa. Shocked. Regards

Hey Matt there are some different places that allow people to volunteer because they have the proper authority to do so... Also there are different visas that you can apply for that allow you to... But there are many people who have got themselves into trouble coming here broke thinking that they're going to be able to earn money or volunteer for free accommodations etc etc.... Nope

i did not know about the vaping thing doc but i knew about not leaving bad reviews of the facilities you are using becasue the next time one will use that facility again it might be a problem we fly to shanghai in 1o days

Hey Todd yes there are certain places that you're allowed to smoke the weed I just don't understand if it's illegal to smoke it in the public because I'm told that it is yet people do it all the time so I'm not 100% sure on..... There's all kinds of crazy laws and I've done a bunch of videos about them these are just three that I thought were pretty funny and were really top of mind right now because a couple of people have gone through them recently....

Not being able to volunteer is crazy…… and if they deem negative comments to Be an illegal act then how does the restaurant improve their food and business?…… once heard about a guy who was arrested for not capitalizing Thailand properly…… He dodged a bullet when they only made him write “Thailand “properly 1000 times and then he was released…… …… ….. Also, if you do get arrested for volunteer work one way to get out of it is to tell the authorities that it wasn’t volunteer work but you were paying back hey sex debt you had with the person for a number of happy endings after massage…… What do you think?

Sadly enough it is extremely complicated for a lot of people believe it or not.... But also there's people who go around trying to be nice considerate people cleaning the oceans cleaning the beaches etc etc and honestly man if you are one of those people and someone doesn't like you they could take a video of you send it to immigration and you could be deported... But yes I'm going to tell you something there's a lot of people that just don't get it they think they can go to any country in the world and essentially steal income from the locals... It's crazy!

I Visit Thailand recently met a freelancer / we agreed for 3 days commitment 😅 one fine day we drunk fully & we did Unprotected aerobics after a month I get a message she telling me I am pregnant asking money but she didn’t showing her pregnancy reports & she just showing black more folic acid medicine s

Why I give money with out any confirmation? She starts blaming me your a bad ass guy blah blah blah

Dammit - I don't drink, smoke or do weed etc - vaping is my 'vice' (and caffeine). Another item to clear off of before travelling there, then. I'll probably work it as a mix of 'vape at home and smoke on the street and after she leaves'.

Well I can definitely tell you mate that these laws are enforced 100%..... There was someone who was just recently arrested for a negative review that they left in 2022...... You can do a Google search finding people who have been deported for volunteer work..... And there was a rather famous case of a Chinese visitor who was fined 30,000 for a vape..... There are some pretty crazy kookie laws that yes they're not going to enforce unless they want to..... Keep in mind like I said at the end of the video they know that we can afford the fines

@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean What your saying is true , but like I said not every law is enforced , if that was the case then soi 6 in pattaya wouldnt be around , so you think about what I am saying , then you will get it ...... some of them are not even a matter of paying the fines , its a matter of how plays into the economy ..... if vapes were illegal , then you wouldnt see them selling it on the street like they do , so thats an example of not everything is not every law is enforced cuz if it was the case ,then nobody would sell it on the street no matter what cuz not even a pay off would matter and people would go to jail for doing that .

Amd. VAPES ARE 💯 ILLEGAL HERE..... NO QUESTION... . THIS IS DIRECTLY FROM THE OFFICIAL THAI GOVERNMENT WEBSITE..... While electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes are used around the world as a way of helping people quit smoking, travelers coming to Thailand should be aware that these devices are in fact illegal in the kingdom. Anyone found breaking this law by using an electronic cigarette - or vaping - in Thailand could be arrested and face jail time, or a fine several times the value of the illegal item(s). This applies both to foreigners and Thais. There have been recent incidents of foreign travelers who were unaware of the ban facing an on-the-spot fine or being arrested. Many may ask why a device designed to aid people in quitting the habit is being banned. A government spokesman said the ban was introduced for health reasons and that it was originally suggested because electronic cigarettes were luring young people into smoking. That ban has been in place since 2014. Thus, travelers coming to Thailand are advised not to bring any electronic cigarettes with them, nor any item or equipment associated with e-cigarettes; such as the liquid used in the device. Likewise, travel agents or tour operators selling Thailand as a destination should make sure their clients are aware of the ban in place on electronic cigarettes.

I know it's illegal to not wear underwear in Thailand, wonder if it would be a big fine ?. So for all you bs s.a.s and elite troops in pattaya don't go commando kids it ain't worth it. 555. Nobody can tell me 100% for sure however I did ask a cop one day and what he told me was this you can flip the coin but don't let it land on the ground because that's disrespecting the king..... So I did try to find out but man nobody can tell me for certain......
