That guy doesn't exist for the 28 Special. Joseph called up the chassis manufacturer Mr. Provinzino like they would for Longhorn or Capital giving setup notes, what the car is doing, and asking if the guy had any input to find a few more tenths and the car builder was like "Sounds good. You guys will figure it out." The capital as you can tell was setup pretty good for the feature. Winning the B Main and pulling a top 10 finish from the back of the pack means that Capital was dialed in.

@@haiwin224 Whole reason they have the 28 Special is to build notes for 28 Special. I think the car was a freebee. Saves them the hassle of putting a crate in a Longhorn. Car looked good to me. First laps with it. No rec set-up info. Seems to me they did just fine. Plus better than 5 y/o motor.

@@gailtaylor1636 Yeah I think the new car looks fine. Joseph had mentioned they were hoping to have a fresh crate motor in it for The Governor's Cup. It didn't get finished in time so he was probably a little underpowered for a crate race with a touring series like CRUSA. Jesse was having to pedal it since he's got a fresher engine, but Joseph didn't lift and was still about a tenth off from Jesse

I don't understand the philosophy of some drivers. That 22 was running the bottom almost all race holding his own yet moves to the high side with two or so to go? RUINED Jesses momentum he needed to be racing Chase for the final spot. He had it till that 22 screwed his bang zone. Joseph seemed like his car didn't wanna fire off that second complete restart. Had that first start held off it would a sucked for Gator Bate but I think Joseph may have contended with Hughes for the heat race win had it not got called back. Actually, if Ida been Joseph Id have spun intentionally in three and four or even one and two and had it called back for another complete restart again the hose job, he took on that second restart. Wy does Jesses engine sound so much different then Josephs does? I don't know a lot about engines but from the sound of that thing going into and through the corners it almost sounds like it could be geared a bit differently to benefit Jesse with more power coming off the turns. Also, your neighbor there in the 6 reminded me of a Roadway Freight truck lol. Always on the road and always in the way lol.

Worse? You should explain that, you and the eight dim wits that like it. New car, low power engine that has to be perfectly flogged....he had a bad restart and still moved up from where he landed even with a weak motor. I think it took some skill to do what he did with what he had.

I know ill get hate but i dont care im speaking the truth...ever since they started their own series they have been in a downward spiral with no signs of getting better...you cant race once or twice every 3 weeks then think your gonna compete especially when your already lost with your car...its truly sad because there was once hope and promise this team could get better and compete with some of the better guys but thats gone....you cant even make the show against a bunch middle to bottom level guys in a crate how the hell you ever gonna do it in a super late...Johnathan should have separated the business aspect of the TV n series from the race team because its obviously caused the racing side to take a major hit when it comes to competing.
