Edit to add: you didn’t mention that the mother character in her show, was based off a fan of hers who had fibromyalgia and other chronic conditions. The mother character is portrayed to be lying and making it all up for attention in the show. This is because she felt that her fan was “making it up to get Colleen’s attention.” So not only is she a groomer, racist, and overall shit person, she’s also ableist! I didn’t know anything about the controversy or even Colleen besides seeing her as a kid and cringing at the Miranda stuff. Until she made the decision to post.
