Hello Kasey, new subscriber here. Found this channel while searching for camera comparisons and loving your humor. I was wondering if you can do a comparison between Panasonic G9 vs Fujifilm X-S10. I know you don't own X-S10 but maybe you get a loner from Camera Canada. They are in the same price range here in my country alongside Olympus em5mark3 and em1mark2 although those cameras kinda lack video features imo. My use case is vlogging and travel videos so IBIS, Dynamic range and ISO performance is what I'm looking for. Thank you.
Reporting from the PGYTech board room where execs have gathered to watch this highly anticipated review.... It has been 30 minutes since the video ended. Yet, they sit motionless in absolute bewildered silence.
Great job with a genuine review. Many of the features remind me of the Peak Design everyday backpack, which I bought last year. This looks like a nice alternative for about $70 less. Keep selling out! I want you to get (and review) more free stuff.
I have the PGYtech Onemo backtrack, a slightly upgraded version of this one you reviewed. It is one of the absolute best purchases I have ever made. With all the pockets and the ability to form whatever you want inside AND a laptop sleeve I was able to get rid of 3 other daypacks. Especially useful on flights! Way to go PGYtech!
Love your review. I got sucked in by the hype of the Wandrd Prvke. Excellent backpack that weighs a ton EMPTY! I've carried a Vanguard Veo Go 42M (where do they get these names?) for 2 years and loved it, but it was time for something new. Several of my subscribers recommended Tenba. I got the Fulton 16L and have been very happy with it. Holds a lot and distributes the weight fairly evenly. I'll admit it's not as pretty as the OneGo or the Wandrd, but I can carry it all day and don't even notice the weight. Love your channel and your sense of humor.
That's basically a copy of peak design bag. Magnetic front flap? Check. Two side door? Check. Colored battery compartment? Check. Origami-like divider? Check and many more
B&H lists that bag's weight as 4.3 lbs. That's still pretty heavy for its size. My LowePro Flipside 500 AW II looks twice the size but only weighs 5.1 lbs. Good thing you have Monkey Strength. I also have a problem with that pull tab opening, and front-opening bags in general. Pickpockets will take one look and say "yes, please!" Paris is full of them. Rear-opening bags only for me.
@@cameraconspiracies I checked LowePro's and PGYTech's product descriptions on their own sites. B&H use the company specs as listed on their sites. BUT, PGYTech have two weights listed: base weight of 1.95 KG, and a weight with the dividers installed of 2.2 KG (4.85 lbs). It's stuff like that which throws off listed weights. E.g. camera weight without battery, like that's how you'd use it. I blame the manufacturers for not providing retailers with appropriate specs for real-life usage.
Yo I don't know how I ended up here looking for a camera bag. But your delivery is truly exceptional! Bro you have just won yourself a new subscriber! You nailed it! I can totally relate One camera and food!
I agree with the food part lol... I have a lot of stuff I need to put in the bag with the gear. I got my wallet, my phone, snacks, jacket in case it gets cooler later, little makeup bag, etc.
I've personally tested out a number of bags over the 3 years, I have found that the Wandrd Prvke series of bags are well-rounded bags, I am always in the search for a bag that is lite but also pratical and easy to find your gear. Nice honest review though!
@@kiwimike2330 I bought the larger one and it's great, but I wonder if I needed to. So killer though. Brought it on a kayaking adventure and was not worried about anything getting wet
i have the 10L pgytech and yes these bags are heavy. i travel with only a camera and one lense with the cleaning supplies. anymore than that is too much wieght. but i still love this bag. its padded so heavily that any drops will surely cause no damage
While other RU-vidrs might make technically and informatively better videos, those videos bore me to death. Your videos are such a needed alternative 🙏
I want a camera bag with a spot specifically for a gun. I usually put my gun in my bag since I don't usually carry in a holster anymore. I like to have one with me when wandering certain cities with thousands of dollars of camera gear.
Great laughs along with a good review. Vegan falls backwards from 5 lb camera bag. I like my Lowes camera bag. It has enough room in the bottom half for my gear and the top half large enough to carry food and such for a day's worth of hiking.
Man I am also in search for a light bag, to carry mostly food and water.. and one to two lenses and accessories.. But mostly food 😅... I don't know why they have to be so heavy, totally agree..
Dear Kasey, I like your kind of humour and the gestures you make. I have to choose between the two following cameras: Panasonic Lumix DMC-G81 Mirrorless camera 800€ body + kit lens 4/3'' sensor 28mm T/7 - 280mm T/11.2 equivalent 16 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ1000 II Bridge camera 750€ 1'' sensor Leica 24.57mm T/7.56 - 394.2mm T/10.8 equivalent 20 megapixel Both 4K at 30 fps and 100 MBit/s. I film people in studios, so stabilisation is not important to me. I would like to ask you three questions: Why does the smaller sensor have more megapixel? What should I get if I only had these two options? What would you get if you was me with a budget of 1500€? Thank you in advance. Greetings from Germany, Oskar
That's a good review as well as being very funny. Like a lot of people my "camera bag" is frankensteined out of a standalone camera cube, padded lens pouches, and a small tech carrying case. I can fit my camera with lens, an extra lens and the tech case inside the cube, which cinches shut. Everything fits and is reasonably well protected but I can't instantly grab what I need. Your bag's side access panel looks super handy. I can imagine a professional who schleps big and expensive lenses around really appreciating the extra protection and clever organization of that bag. Is there a way to attach a tripod to the bag's exterior? That can be a nice feature.
This is almost like 95% similar to peak design bag. So if you want a more thorough features reviews, you can just look over there. This is cheaper though so buy the one you like.
Brother Casey: Check the secret compartment. I think they packed it full of Canadian see-through plastic $100 bills as payment for reviewing their featherlight bag.
I did appreciate how that pocket opened. The ones that open on the bottom kind suck. I have a Tenba Mixx daypack that weighs about 1.5 pounds. Pretty good. Downside is the external pockets - they're too short for a normal sized water bottle. Pack of gum is ok though.
I've just recently picked up the RVCA Zak Noyle camera bag and my only small complaint is the size, other than that it's light and got plenty of places to store things.
It's like the Peak Design everyday backpack but not as refined. The Peak Design is also the worst camera bag I've ever purchased. It's so awkward to use. Interesting idea I do like that the front opens, and it's got nice padded straps and back (things the PD is missing). If it's really that heavy though I'll pass. My little basic Brevite has been a great simple walk around bag.
I agree that the Peak Design is overrated. like my Brevite as well but wish it was a bit bigger like 20-22L and came with a sternum strap. It would be about perfect for me.
To put a spin on the gear review game - maybe test it for uses that were in no way intended by the designer. You could even poll us (your faithful freaky weirdos) to see what we want it to be tested for.
Have the "lowepro protactic bp 350 aw ii". Also small, heavy-duty and a bit heavy. Like it very much though. Good crash protection when falling with my MTB.
I want a tactical camera bag to satisfy my inner grunt (although my army job was supply not combat arms). Something I can attach a bunch of molle pouches to fill with..........I don't know.......... snacks I guess. Anyway, thanks for the review, very informative.
There is no best camera bag, evryone has different needs, Best way i went is to get a camera insert and put that in your favourite outdoor/tactical/fashionable, shoulder bag or what ever it is you work best with.
I love seeing “dislikes” - because I imagine some camera hobo stumbling onto your channel and having no clue why you didn’t start with “HEY GUYS” or why you aren’t hard selling happiness... I’ll go now
Just spent two weeks in Stockholm, Sweden with the Wandrd Duo Daypack - Fuji XT-4, three lenses including the F1.4 16mm, the 70-300mm and the 1.4x plus all the connectors, passport, laptop, cell phone and all the other junk we take on holiday. Highly recommended. Very flexible, many pockets, really big water bottle pocket, plus the apparently much needed chest strap. Also fits over the retractable handle of a suitcase, so no need to wear it everywhere throughout the airport. The holiday was great by the way, up to the point where a nurse shoved a long swab right up my nose for a a rapid COVID test just before returning to the US. Mandated test but would not recommend.
