Who ever directed this scene deserves an award. The range of emotions you feel and the emotions the characters are showing are numerous. This scene says so much with so little. The music is on point too.

Chris Mitchell The original trilogy makes everything look weird. I always just see it as technical limitations and lack of development that we have from modern effects and expanded novels and comics. Besides nobody today would want to see a slow boring Vader.

He was also much older on New Hope. The Jedi were gone. His only real opponent was his son and he didn’t want to kill Luke.

@@Robman0908 Vader in The Return of the Jedi was considered to be his prime of his power though, he only gets stronger from Revenge of the Sith onwards while gradually getting more used to his suit's limitations.

Daniel O'sullivan Darth Vader wasn't really trying to kill Luke in Return of the Jedi. He was very conflicted. The one time Vader got a little bit serious and the results is Luke lost his hand lol.

Can we just give it up for EA this time around? Publishing a true to the core old fashioned gaming experience that RECAPTURES the magic of this universe? And the sound design, oh my god. That moment when he walks up behind Trilla and looks down at them and that music choice right before Cal says "that doesn't look good." Fucking goosebumps!

Damn I must be the only Fallen Order player that kept the original blue lightsaber color for this scene. Blue and the cyan color were my favorite but I had to represent Jaro Tapal’s original design/color for Cal.

I've seen a few people with blue. But since making your own lightsaber was supposed to be part of your way to move on from Jaro's death, it didn't make too much sense not to change it, to me at least.

Genuinely never cared much for Vader, but when I heard those breaths and saw him come forward, I felt truly like there was no way out, I was fuckin terrified for those few minutes. This game is fucking EXCELLENT man I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Michael Hetzer Are you referring to Sc38 reimagined? If so then you are comparing a fan film to this. You can’t realistically compare the two. Vader has always been very large in lore. He uses his brute strength to blow through their defense. It’s your opinion but you probably shouldn’t compare a fan film to a cannon video game.
