YOYOKA's Improvised Drum Solo / August 27, 2023 at Ovation Hollywood, California 

She's gaining the ability to construct layers and tangents without losing the cogency of the main narrative thread.

She consistently tops herself. This solo was so successful IMHO. Yoyoka's choices are always tastefuland seldom repetitive. As she becomes more active in the solo format she makes choices more rapidly than ever, never alllowing us to dismiss or ignore the story she is telling us. We can literally see her development before our eyes. In other words, her solos are getting better. 😮 May the ascended masters continue to be present in her music!

The thing is this was a completely new solo. Nothing we heard before. You seem to have an endless amount of rhythms and combinations inside of you you can freely combine. Can't wait to see what comes next.
