Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana follows thrill-seeking protagonist Adol and his blue-haired companion Dogi as they return to Dogi’s homeland of Felghana. The eight years they’ve been away have not been kind to the lands which are now filled with roaming monsters, a newly active volcano, and a greedy new overlord extorting the suffering residents. While Dogi seeks help from his former master, Adol remains to help the locals, only to find himself embroiled in a world of conspiracies and ancient legacies.

i mean it's been on PC for years and originally was on PSP so it's been available in the West for years already just not on modern consoles

In the beginning of this year in a spree to complete all Ys games on Steam. The Oath in Felghana was basically a souls-like against bosses. The last one was almost unbeatable. I don't see the need for remastering this game considered how good it was back then.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to playing this, gameplay looks similar to Ys Origin, which was great. I hope this means that Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 and the Sky Trilogy will get ported to the Switch in the U.S. as well.

@@LynnMooney Me too. I downloaded the TurboGrafx-16 version of Ys I and II on the Wii's VC years ago. Beat the first one, but I kept losing against the final boss in II. Never really got around to trying again.

Yes finally, YS Oath Of Felghana remaster! Can't wait to replay it again,hopefully there additional content and improvement,also hopefully Ys Kefin can get a remake as well,considering it was one of the most needed Ys to get one(most newer gen Ys fan probably disliked it because it was dated,doesn't age well,but for some older fan like me who played that on Snes felt like it was breath of fresh air back then,considering before that we only familiar with Ys bump system from previous title)

The official announcement! I think the original (not ORIGINAL original Wanderers but the OG Oath) is fine as it is, and Adol's silence is part of his charm. Hopefully it's very limited like Ys VIII & IX. Still, I'm happy for those who are getting this, especially as it was only available on PC and PSP I believe.

after Ys VIII: Lacrimosa Of Dana, nihon falcom doesn't know how to move forward, I suggest giving it a little break until the next consoles gen come and release something remarkable again like Sorcerian,Xanadu Next or Zweii

I love this game, and I'm glad more people get to play it now, but it kinda seems half-assed. Why the effort to make new character art for the portraits, but in the anime cutscenes it's still the old designs? Also, you could've upped the framerate of the cutscenes with interpolation, no? Anyway, a Steam release would be appreciated.
