Would love to go back to the original, it was my all time favorite fragrance back in the days. Performance of the current one is absolutely atrocious on my skin though. If I'm lucky I can get 2 hours out of it and in the first 30min it's alcohol only. Never experienced a fragrance with such a poor quality. Can't justify spending any money on that. I envy the people who still experience acceptable performance and quality on their skin.

I don't often disagree with chaos fragerances, but IMO La Nuit De L'homme EDP is my favorite. It's so dark, mystic and a bit leathery. It's much more mature than the other flankers.

I actually blind bought the Le Parfum all black bottle thinking it was the one Jeremy was recommending and loved the fresh spice in it. When I found out the one he was talking about was reformulated, I tried it on at Nordstrom and didn't like it as much as I like my Le Parfum. I guess it worked out for me. I had the original clear bottle L'Homme a long time ago and also still love that one. It's a classic.

I agree. Not enough difference to warrant buying the vintage, which I do own, as well. The new formulations are just slightly fresher, and honestly I prefer it sometimes. And I get at least 6 to 8 hours from the newer bottles. Perfect night out scent.

Got the same with a sample of 2021 batch, smells much smoother than earlier batches but projects even better. Not sure what they've done with the OG but no complaints!:) maybe cardamom costs are down this year lol

I've been overlaying La Nuit onto CK One Shock and the performance has been greatly boosted. I try to go extremely light on Shock, as to not have the La Nuit become compromised and it works out extremely well.

I just tried this I got a sample of it and at first spray it was just strong and I didint understand all this hype. But man after a minute I was blown away by how much I loved the smell. I now pair it with meteor my louis vuitton and I get so many comments

I don't why people say that New batches of la nuit de l'homme original eau de toilette doesn't last long? Mine is a 2021 batch but it lasts at least 8h even more than 12h on clothes. I'm happy with it. This stuff is Amazing and magical specially during date night occasions.

Is L'intense and Eau de parfum the same fragrance or are they two different fragrances? I can't remember which I smelled at the store cause the bottle color looks pretty the same

They are different to me, imo. L’intense is loaded w/ Iris and Violet. The dry down is really nicely blended too. The EDP is really cardamom based and more fruity than L’intense. I prefer L’intense big time over the EDP. But the EDP goes more in the direction of the La Nuit de L’homme OG.

Does the EDT have a prominent cardamom note? Or is it now too subtle and watered down? I can't smell any distinct cedar, lavender or any particular note in my Edt, just a generic sweet scent!

I own the newer batch of la nuit de l’homme. Is it just me or when ever I spray it I don’t smell it that much? Also there seem to be a lot of alcohol content in the initial spray and the dry down is very weak.

Same here! I had to return it because all I smelled was the alcohol in the dry down. It was a huge letdown considering the hype around it.

Yeah the newer batches are weak in projection and longetivity but it's still a great fragrance! The solution is to overspray it, 10-12 sprays should be fine for 6-7 hours, if you go lower it will only last for 2-3 hours, ladies love it!

I don't get why YT reviewers keep on saying Le Parfum smells great or that it smells close to the OG La Nuit. Like WTH have you all been smoking? Le Parfum reeks of anise. It's the least mass appealing of the line. At the same time, these YT reviewers keep on dissing L'Intense while it's clearly the most mass appealing perhaps next to the OG. It looks like they all watched the same video and took that as gospel truth. Seriously? Le Parfum on a date? Why would anyone want to smell like some weird anise fragrance with a hint of dead fish in it?

fragrances are different to everyone... I don't get the strong anise note you're talking about. It mainly smells like pepper, fruits and lavender to me. I think you're the exception here mate 😅🤷🏼‍♀️ Never heard anyone say it smells like anise and dead fish lmao. Only got positive comments on it. More than on the original actually (performance could play a role here though). I definitely wouldn't say it's the least mass appealing either. I had a hard time deciding whether I should keep buying the original or the le parfum version so I asked all my friends for their opinion. I'm sorry to tell you that but most of them preferred the Le Parfum :D
