I was able to speak with a top make up artist/ rep from YSL recently and she told me a few things that I thought were SUPER important: Firstly the Foundation tends to pull on the "warmer" side. Don't be alarmed, when we were doing swatches I was like Oh Yeah! Definitely... So just keep that in mind when looking for your shade. Secondly, the application time before the foundation becomes skin-like (transfer proof) is less than a minute, so make sure you're doing all your heavy blending in between that time. Thirdly, because it is fast absorbing make sure you always hydrate and lock in your moisture with a good hyaluronic serum before applying! Allot of people have said this Foundation is super drying but that's because they aren't properly moisturizing and prepping their skin first.. Lastly, she said the best way to apply the foundation is with your finger tips. Using your finger tips will provide the best even application! I also asked about what sort of primer base would go best with All Hours and she said use a silicone based. I hope those tips help out! I found them super helpful!!! ❤️

Im not a liquid foundation wearer i always found it obvious (ofcourse cuz its makeup), it also looked bad and felt awful so i opted for powder foundation and just used a setting spray. This is the FIRST foundation i can say looks like skin and doesnt feel heavy after hours of wearing makeup. I found myself over the years trying to love liquid foundation and i never felt myself going back to it. I love this foundation and that says alot for me lol
I received a sample of the foundation from my Sephora order. I used it on a whim and had 2 people ask me about my skincare that day. I wore it a few days later and got another compliment on my skin. I ordered a bottle immediately. I normally wear Chanel.

I had the old formulation on today and it immediately rubbed off my nose.... and it oxidizes, so that makes me not love the old formulation even tho it's beautiful. Now I want to try the new formulation. You do the best most thorough reviews!
Your skin looks so good! That foundation is amazing, I can't believe how much coverage it has and how natural it looks. How is that even possible? I wish it was released before my wedding since I would have used this one for sure haha
My skin is more dry now that I'm 46 but reactive, too, like you. My favorite winter foundation has been the Patrick TA one. But I'm apprehensive to wear it now that the warmer weather is approaching and had my eye on this one. Thank you for the review. I'm going to buy it and test it out.
Yo tengo piel mixta y en invierno se me reseca porque se me deshidrata y te juro que lo que hago es simplemente limpiarme mi cara con el jabón en espuma de cerave que es hidratante.. al día siguiente no me limpio la cara me pongo un tónico de rosas de garnier que es hidratante y luego aloe puro y un par de gotas de aceite de almendras.. luego me pongo la pre base de Lancome y luego esta base y me queda súper hermosa la piel..

I tried so hard to find a good comparison video of this foundation. Because I have eczemes on my face sometimes. They are not really deep so not look disturbing but anyway I want the perfect skin look. Thank you so much for yout effort 🎉☺️

Ok Mal still watching but now this foundation is on my radar for the Sephora sale 😊. And your lip combo is in my cart! I was always scared Yes Honey would be too light but it looks perfect 😍. I used the old version of the foundation too and it was a little drying for me and the color I got was off but wow it looks so natural on your skin!
It is FOR SURE a must during the sale! I am still loving it, and using it every time I wear makeup! My skin has never looked better underneath a foundation. I wasn''t expecting this ahhaha
It does have its flaws but overall I absolutely adore the old formulation for its matte airbrushed properties. I actually panicked and bought 8 bottles of the old formula when they said it was being discontinued. I truly went into an embarrassing panic state. I went to Nordstrom makeup counter ,immediately, to see the new formula. The girl at the counter told me not to bother that the new and old formula weren’t similar in the least. However, after this review I am going to order a bottle. Fingers crossed

@@jennr6928 es una base hermosa tengo la piel mixta y te juro que se ve como aerógrafo en la piel. Me pongo el Primer el de Lancome. La prueba se que se llama.. y de verdad que estoy enamorada de esta base no se siente para nada en la piel. Cubre mucho
@@cindyfrith-smith7934 he descubierto que para que los poros no se noten, también puedes poner antes polvos sueltos como los de huda o it cosmétic que son polvos pulverizados En Sephora venden un gel limpiador en espuma, que es para poros de la marca Benefit… y siempre es bueno usar niacinamida… el agua de rosa es magnífico para los poros

The way they trained us on this is it’s not a “reformulated” but a completely new foundation. They kept the name bc markets responded well to the name and old one wasn’t know enough for a different name.

Hey Mallory , how is your skin doing with the new YSL. I know your dry and so am I. I went to get the foundation but it has alcohol in it so I’m hesitant bc alcohol in foundation sucks the moisture from my skin and always cracks my foundation and I look like a cracked desert. I was just wondering how it works for you being dry and sensitive? I really want to try it though…

Have you tried the YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint Foundation? It’s the same bottle of all hours but gold cap. I brought it but haven’t used it yet lol. This one is more radiant I’ve heard. I prefer matte or satin like foundations. The old YSL all hours never worked for me. It’s always broke up around my nose and chin no matter what I used under. I’m hoping the new is better.

Hmm, transfer proof, etc.. I've never believed in that kind of promises. But remember that you had used other makeup products over the foundation.. By the way.. I'm super oily, especially in the t zone but I don't like extremely mat effects anymore. ( I'm close to my 40's 😜). I'm looking for something light, yet not drying out. I think I'll give it a try 🤔.. Yo tengo la piel mixta.. Y en vez de usar crema hidratante, me pongo gel de aloe puro y queda súper hermosa ..la sello un poco con los polvos de sheglam y me queda hermosa .. La siento yo como radiante te da unos pequeños destellos radiantes muy bonitos
@MrsMac-jh1zj he probado las dos bases y te aseguro que esta base es súper hermosa es radiante pero no glow.. es ligera cubriente aterciopelada muy hermosa
