Thank you for the detailed comparison video ! Initially, I was drawn to the Chanel Classic Flap until I find out about the YSL envelope bag! It looks absolutely amazing and way more affordable than Chanel(still pricey of course haha) ! Got it in dark beige yesterday, and it was my first ever luxury bag !!😂

I love both! But I think the Chanel is better ! I have the YSL large envelope bag in triquilt with black hardware I love it but I feel it’s more for dressing up and it’s more trendy Chanel’s more timeless and can be used everyday

OMG I totally agree with you ! We may be the only two 🤣 I own both as well but my Jumbo is my fav of the two ! It looks amazing with casual everyday wear! I bought the YSL envelope to switch out from the Jumbo but every time I reach for it , I put it back because it’s soooo dressy looking and I never dress up. I thought the black hardware would make it less dressy but I was wrong 🤣Beautiful bag but not for me anymore. Initially I wanted the YSL college bag , much more my style , so I think I’m going to sell the YSL envelope and replace it with the college bag instead.

Awesome comparison. Yes, the price is huge difference. You can buy 2 YSL bags compare with Chanel. Totally agree with you that don’t know why Chanel made double flaps. Thank You so much for sharing darling ❤️

For me personally, price aside.. I just find the YSL bag WAY more attractive. Something about the Chanel closure just looks cheap to me. Always has 🤷🏼‍♀️

Have them both and love them both! I got my ysl in beige and my jumbo in black. The ysl is stunning and I love it in beige. I think it’s more modern and unique than the Chanel however the Chanel just has that timeless wow factor. I can’t choose a fav between the two🧐🤔🙈😇

I own 2 Chanel bags and I am sooooo drawn to ysl envelop bags in black and beige. I do not really understand why people are so crazy about Chanel bags. There are so many other beautiful bags with amazing quality.

I have been debating between the LV Saint-Placide, the YSL envelope like yours, and the YSL camera bag. Any opinions??? I have heard that the Chanel Jumbo is very heavy, and I really need a lighter weight bag, so besides the price, I would prefer the YSL for myself.

Chanel jumbo is heavy, especially if you add your stuff. Ysl is much lighter. 😁
